OF LIFETIME'S BEAUTY COMPETITION SERIES

Los Angeles, CA (August 23, 2018) - Lifetime's hit beauty competition series, American Beauty Star began production on its second season this week in Atlanta. Created by Herrick Entertainment, Season 2 brings a whole new trio of judges including the world's original supermodel, Christie Brinkley; Hearst Magazines Chief Beauty Director, Leah Wyar; and world acclaimed, celebrity fashion and beauty photographer,Yu Tsai joining new host international superstar model Ashley Graham and mentor, world acclaimed celebrity makeup artist, Sir John. Each judge will use their unique experience to determine who stays in and who packs up their brushes in each episode.
This season will include an exclusive partnership with Hearst Magazines, spearheaded by Holly Whidden, head of Hearst Magazines entertainment division. The collaboration will include social and digital content across Hearst titles, unique challenges inspired by the high end magazines - including fan favorite COSMOPOLITAN - as well as the opportunity for the winner of season 2 to be featured in a top Hearst publication.
Iconic beauty brand Revlon joins the series as the exclusive beauty sponsor across all categories, providing Revlon color cosmetics, nail and beauty tools along with Revlon Professional hair products for contestants to use in challenges. There will also be two dedicated Revlon challenges this season which will push contestants to the limit to impress the judges and host Ashley Graham, Revlon's Global Brand Ambassador. Other sponsors include Disney, Microsoft, JTV, "Waitress" the Musical, Zenni Optical and She Wigs.
Debuting in 2019, American Beauty Star Season 2 will consist of 13 episodes, leading to an explosive LIVE season finale event. Viewers from across the country will be able to vote for their favorite artist to help determine who will be the next American Beauty Star.
American Beauty Star is created by and produced by Herrick Entertainment. Norton Herrick, Ross Elliot, Sue Kinkead, Ashley Graham and season one host, Adriana Lima, serve as executive producers. Gena McCarthy, Christian Murphy, James Bolosh and Jim Hoffman executive produce for Lifetime. Holly Whidden serves as an executive producer for Hearst.
