AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott are both slated to return for the upcoming "Apocalypse" season, presumably reprising their roles from the "Murder House" season. (Deadline.com)
BEWITCHED (ABC) - The Alphabet is the latest network to take a stab at a revival of its 1964-1972 series, this time from Kenya Barris and Yamara Taylor. ABC Studios and Sony Pictures Television will co-produce the single-camera take, about "Samantha, a hardworking black single mom who happens to be a witch, marries Darren, a white mortal who happens to be a bit of a slacker." The project, which has a pilot production commitment, will also be executive produced by Davis Entertainment's John Davis and John Fox. The news marks Barris's Khalabo Ink Society's last piece of development prior to signing an overall deal with Netflix. CBS and Marc Lawrence previously spearheaded a potential reboot in 2011 followed by NBC, Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein in 2014, neither of which moved past the script stage. (Deadline.com)
BLINDSPOT (NBC) - Ennis Esmer's Rich Dotcom has been named a series regular for its upcoming fourth season. (Deadline.com)
FLASH, THE (The CW) - "America's Got Talent" alum and contortionist Troy James has been tapped to play DC Comics villain Peter Merkel (aka Rag Doll) on an upcoming episode. (TVInsider.com)

Goyer and Josh Friedman's small screen take on seminal Isaac Asimov science fiction novel trilogy - which "chronicles the thousand year saga of The Foundation, a band of exiles who discover that the only way to save the Galactic Empire from destruction is to defy it" - has been given a 10-episode order by the company. Skydance Television's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross also serve as executive producers, as does Asimov's daughter, Robyn Asimov. (Deadline.com)
FUTURE MAN (Hulu) - Timothy Hornor is bound for the show's second season in the recurring role of Lathe, "an integral member of a unique family group that Wolf (Derek Wilson) becomes a part of thanks to a case of mistaken identity." (Deadline.com)
GOLDBERGS, THE (ABC) - Rick Springfield will visit the show's third episode this season as "Erica's new boss, the owner of a karaoke bar called Gary-oke's." (EW.com)
KILL CREEK (Showtime, New!) - Scott Thomas is looking to bring his novel - in which "best-selling horror author Sam McGarver and three fellow masters of the macabre reluctantly agree to spend Halloween night in one of the country's most infamous haunted houses, their presence awakens an entity that will torment and threaten to make them a part of Kill Creek's bloody legacy" - to the small screen at the pay channel. Scott Derrickson will direct and executive produce the potential adaptation alongside Misha Green, Adam Gomolin, Andrew Lazar and Elisa Ellis for Platform One Media. (Deadline.com)
LOST IN SPACE (Netflix) - Ajay Friese - who plays Vijay Dhar, "Victor's (Raza Jaffrey) son and Penny's (Mina Sundwall) love interest" - is the latest to be named series regular on the show's second season. (Deadline.com)
MANIFEST (NBC) - Amanda Green has joined the freshman drama as a co-executive producer as part of a new multi-year overall deal with the show's producer Warner Bros. Television. (Deadline.com)
SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Rebecca Field has scored a recurring role on the ninth season as Eliza, "the assistant manager at Patsy's Pies." (Deadline.com)
SNOWPIERCER (TNT) - Timothy V. Murphy, Happy Anderson and Jonathan Lloyd Walker are all bound for the film-turned-drama series. (Deadline.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Melanie Liburd, who played Beth's cousin Zoe in the last season's finale, will return as a series regular this fall. (THR.com)
WHISKEY CAVALIER (ABC) - Josh Hopkins, who guest starred in the pilot episode as Ray Prince, has been promoted to regular for the series. (Deadline.com)
WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Matt Bomer will drop by the upcoming season as "a smooth-talking, self-satisfied TV news anchor who dates Eric McCormack's character." (TVLine.com)
