KIM POSSIBLE (Disney Channel) - Issac Ryan Brown has scored a role on the franchise's live-action adaptation as "teen computer genius and ace inventor Wade, Kim and Ron's communications guru whose advanced surveillance skills and high-tech inventions help them stay a step ahead of their villainous foes." NIGHTBREED (Syfy, New!) - Clive Barker's short-story collection-turned-feature is being developed for television at the cable channel. Josh Stolberg is penning the Universal Cable Productions-based project, which "follows a group of underground half-human/half-monsters seeking to find a new refuge and home after their original hiding place is destroyed." PROPOSAL, THE (ABC) - The Alphabet has pulled the second planned episode of the series. "While the accusation was not related to the contestant's appearance on the program, we take it very seriously. ABC and the producers of 'The Proposal' are pulling the episode while this matter is under review." (Deadline.com)
SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Dan Lauria and Ashley Romans are both bound for the show's ninth season. He'll play Mo White, "a disgraced ex-Congressman in his 60s with a John Edwards haircut. Everyone thinks she is a man, but in fact she is a woman." (Deadline.com)
SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - The veteran drama will reportedly only air 20 episodes during the coming season, its lowest order since the writers' strike hobbled season three. (TVLine.com)
