OVATION'S SUMMER PROGRAMMING IS SCORCHING HOT!
Ovation Turns Up the Heat with Jamie Oliver, Rachel Hunter,
The Bletchley Circle and The Art Show
Los Angeles, CA: June 12, 2018 Ovation, America's only arts network, has an exciting programming lineup this summer. Exploring a wide range of artistic topics, the network will feature cooking with Jamie Oliver, beauty and culture with Rachel Hunter, drama with The Bletchley Circle and painting, photography and more with The Art Show. For subscribers of JOURNY, Ovation's AVOD travel service, both Jamie's American Road Trip and Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty season two will be available months before making their television premieres in the fall.
On Jamie's American Road Trip, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver delves into the underbelly of American society to uncover fascinating personal stories, try real American food and meet the most interesting but unsung chefs and food producers the country has to offer. The epic journey takes Jamie to the heart of America: its people, culture, music and most importantly, its food. Jamie's American Road Trip will be available on JOURNY from July 4 until October 31. The series will then begin to air on Ovation on Thursday, November 1 at 4pm ET.
In season two of Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty, international supermodel Rachel Hunter embarks on a search for the secrets to lasting beauty and a complete sense of well-being through the Americas. From the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Peru to the body-conscious beaches of Miami, from a Rastafari village in the heart of Jamaica to the fashion capital of New York City, she'll explore landscapes as varied and diverse as the people and cultures that inhabit it. Rachel Hunter's Tour of Beauty season two will be available on JOURNY from July 13 until September 5. The second season will then begin to air on Ovation on Thursday, September 6 at 10pm ET.
The second season of the scripted drama series The Bletchley Circle continues the story of four seemingly ordinary women becoming the unlikely investigators of a string of grisly murders in this original thriller set against the backdrop of post-war London. The second season will debut on Ovation on Monday, July 23 at 10pm ET.
The Art Show travels the globe to bring fascinating stories about art. With broadcasters Kate Bryan, June Sarpong and Will Best, curator Carrie Scott, artist Charming Baker, and art historian Dr. James Fox, we'll see new work being made, meet famous photographers and artists, and experience culture all around the world. The Art Show will debut on Ovation on Wednesday, July 25 at 10pm ET.
Jamie & Jimmy's Food Fight Club is based in the Southend, Essex, UK café of childhood friends Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty. While Jamie cooks up his ultimate weekend recipes, Jimmy heads outdoors and rustles up magnificent feasts from wild ingredients. The boys are joined by a host of celebrity friends - such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Michael Sheen - who pop in to learn how to cook the dishes they've always loved. The boys also hit the road, spreading the word about exciting new food campaigns - including delicious mussels, happy milk and the tastiest sustainable fish in our seas. Jamie & Jimmy's Food Fight Club will debut on Ovation on Thursday, August 2 at 4pm ET.
