Character description: Uma Thurman plays NANCY, the mother of a heart donor who forges a hesitant relationship with the young recipient only to find out her daughter may not be as dead as she thought.
Logline: A young heart attack survivor becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor's sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased -- some of which are troublingly sinister.

Thurman's recent television and film credits include an arc on Bravo's "Imposters," NBC's miniseries "The Slap," created by Jon Robin Baitz, and Lars Von Trier's NYMPHOMANIC: Vol. 1.
Thurman is best known for her portrayal of "Mia Wallace," a sexy mobster's wife, in Quentin Tarantino's critically lauded PULP FICTION. In 1995, she received an Academy Award(R) nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the cult classic. Referred to as Tarantino's "muse," Thurman continued to work with the director for many years and garnered Golden Globe(R) Award nominations for her role of "The Bride" in his highly successful KILL BILL film franchise. ROLLING STONE likened her to "an avenging angel out of a 1940s Hollywood melodrama."
Thurman's entrance into mainstream film began following her role as the goddess Venus in Terry Gilliam's fantasy THE ADVENTURES OF BARON MUNCHAUSEN. She went on to receive critical acclaim for her portrayal of a virginal 18th century convent girl, "Cecile de Volanges," in Stephen Frears' DANGEROUS LIAISONS, opposite John Malkovich. The following year, she starred opposite Fred Ward and Maria de Medeiros in Philip Kaufman's HENRY & JUNE. Additional film credits include BATMAN & ROBIN, LES MISERABLES, PRIME with Meryl Streep, BE COOL, THE PRODUCERS and MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND. She has appeared in over 50 films to date.
