LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has booked one last trip to "Gotham," ordering a fifth and final season of the series.

The news was confirmed by a network spokesperson this afternoon, who added the final season will focus on Bruce Wayne's transformation into the caped crusader.
