SONY CRACKLE'S ORIGINAL DRAMA "SNATCH," RETURNS FOR SOPHOMORE SEASON IN SEPTEMBER 2018; FIRST-LOOK CLIP AND PHOTO RELEASED
New York, April 24, 2018 - Rupert Grint, star and executive producer of the hit scripted original "Snatch," announced via a taped piece from the set in Spain's Costa del Sol, that the series' second season will debut in September. The streaming network also released a first-look clip and photo from the new season.
Grint, known around the world as Ron Weasley from the "Harry Potter"film franchise, returns in season two as the utterly posh, Charlie Cavendish-Scott. In addition, the series stars an ensemble cast featuring Luke Pasqualino as Albert Hill, Lucien Laviscount as Billy Ayres, Dougray Scott as Vic Hill, Phoebe Dynevor as Lotti MottandJuliet Aubrey as Lily Hill. In addition to Grint, the series is executive produced by Alex De Rakoff, who also serves as writer and showrunner, Aaron Ginsburg and William Green. New this season, as previously announced, are directors Kevin Connolly ("Entourage"), Tom Dey ("Failure to Launch,""Shanghai Noon") and Luis Pietro ("The Oath," "Kidnap").
In season two, the team is on the lam and what begins as a well-deserved vacation quickly becomes a face off with a local kingpin; another thrill-a-minute fight to save their fortune, and ultimately their lives.
