"We can't wait to share Season 2 with CBC audiences next year and showcase Anne's incredible talent and creative team to the entire world once again in partnership with Netflix."

"We are thrilled to not only return to Green Gables for more adventures of the effervescent and beloved Anne Shirley, but also to bring the stunning landscapes of Prince Edward Island and Ontario to Netflix members around the world," said Elizabeth Bradley, Vice President of Content, Netflix.

Thomson (Matthew Cuthbert), Corrine Koslo (Rachel Lynde), Dalila Bela (Diana Barry), Aymeric Jett Montaz (Jerry Baynard), Lucas Zumann (Gilbert Blythe) and Kyla Matthews (Ruby Gillis).
