Universal Cable Productions is behind the project, which reportedly has a straight-to-series order. David Gordon Green is attached to direct as well as executive produce alongside said trio; Platform One Media's Quan Phung, Elisa Ellis and Courtney Conte; and Michael De Luca Productions' Michael De Luca. Elishia Holmes will serve as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

FIVE POINTS (Facebook) - Ray Cham Jr., Trey Curtis, Nathaniel Potvin, Jake Walker and Spence Moore II have all been cast in the upcoming original, which "follows five students at a South Side Chicago high school who each experience a life-changing event from a different point of view." FRENCH DETECTIVE, THE (ABC, New!) - Jean Dujardin (The Artist) is set to star in a small screen take on James Patterson's Luc Moncrief mysteries, about "a Parisian detective who moves to New York and joins the NYPD in order to leave his previous life behind and start fresh. The sexy procedural follows Moncrief as he and his blue collar female partner solve New York's most complex and inscrutable crimes, while Luc simultaneously tries to keep his dark past from catching up to him." Luc Besson will direct the project, which has a put pilot commitment, from a script by Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Jonathan Collier. James Patterson Entertainment's Leopoldo Gout and Bill Robinson will also executive produce for EuropaCorp Television. (Deadline.com)
GOOD COP, THE (Netflix) - Isiah Whitlock, Jr. has joined the cast of the Tony Danza/Josh Groban-led drama as "veteran homicide detective, Burl Loomis, who's marking the days left until retirement. Slow on his feet but quick with a deadpan retort, he has little patience for the department's younger, more energetic members." (Deadline.com)
MIRACLE WORKERS (TBS) - Geraldine Viswanathan, Jon Bass and Karan Soni have each landed roles in the anthology comedy. Viswanathan will play Eliza, "who after 500 years of diligently sorting billions of human prayers in Heaven's "mail room", has finally been promoted to the Department of Prayer Response." Bass then is set as Sam, "a sweet, shy, kind, but lonely young man who suffers from low self-confidence because he thinks he is unattractive and unsuccessful"; with Soni as "God's right-hand man, who confers with God in weekly briefings." (Deadline.com)
MODERN FAMILY (ABC) - Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will drop by the veteran comedy as himself in the November 29 episode. (EW.com)
OFF-SITE (FOX, New!) - Aaron Berg and Len Wiseman are set to team for a new drama about "a former "chaos agent" for the CIA who's recruited by a UN investigator to help recover a missing artifact that surprisingly contains clues to a mythical reservoir said to be overflowing with an incredibly rare and immensely valuable fossil fuel, instantly igniting a pulse-pounding chase across the desert." 20th Century Fox Television-based Sketch Films' Kaley Smalley will also executive produce the project, which has a penalty attached. Wiseman is likewise attached to direct. (Deadline.com)

Stage 29 Productions and CBS Television Studios are behind the hour with Phil McGraw, Jay McGraw and Julia Eisenman also serving as executive producers and Shelley Ross as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ALBERT KIM PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Albert Kim ("Sleepy Hollow") has sold a new drama to the Peacock about "a family-owned Korean electronics corporation that is rocked when the CEO dies on the eve of launching their American subsidiary and his will reveals the existence of a previously unknown heir."
