ARROW (The CW) - Liam Hall has been tapped to play Slade Wilson's (Manu Bennett) son Joe, who "has followed in his father's footsteps by joining the secret Australian military agency, A.S.I.S. After years of brutal combat, Joe now finds himself in a remote Kasnian prison under the alias, Kane Wolfman, fighting for his life." (EW.com)
CLASS (BBC America) - Original broadcaster BBC has pulled the plug on the "Doctor Who" spin-off after one season. (RadioTimes.com)
ELIGIBLE (ABC, New!) - Sherri Cooper Landsman and Jennifer Levin ("Beauty & the Beast") are developing a new drama at the Alphabet based on Curtis Sittenfeld's book of the same name, "a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice seen through the eyes of the five Bennet sisters and their complex journeys to finding love in its many traditional and non-traditional incarnations." Long Lake Media's I. Marlene King will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television. (Deadline.com)
GOLIATH (Amazon) - Clyde Phillips has bowed out as showrunner of the drama's proposed 10-episode second season over creative differences with star Billy Bob Thornton. Lawrence Trilling has since taken over following a production hiatus after four episodes: the season opener will be reshot and the subsequent three installments scrapped in favor of a newly abbreviated seven-episode season. A similar scenario occurred during a planned 10-episode season one: co-creator David E. Kelley was pushed out of the day-to-day role after the first two episodes were thrown out with episode three serving as the new pilot for an eight-episode premiere season. (THR.com)
GOOD DOCTOR, THE (ABC) - Director/executive producer Seth Gordon banner has re-upped his overall deal with Sony Pictures Television, home to his Exhibit A banner, for another two years. (THR.com)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Violett Beane will recur on the midseason drama as Lily, "a cancer patient under the care of Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) and Dr. Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal). Abandoned by her fiancé and far from home, Lily inspires the hospital staff to be protective and emotionally involved in her outcome." (Deadline.com)
RHYTHM & FLOW (Netflix, New!) - John Legend's Get Lifted Film Co. is developing a new music competition series at the streaming service "that focuses on a particular genre: hip-hop music." Former NBC executive Jeff Gaspin and Primary Wave Entertainment will also executive produce. No other specifics however were given. (Variety.com)
ROSEANNE (ABC) - Newcomer Ames McNamara has been cast as Mark, Darlene and David's 8-year-old son, in the revival series: "Sensitive and bright, Mark occasionally likes to wear girls' clothing." (TVLine.com)
TITANS (DC) - Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly have been cast as "the crime-fighting, vigilante duo and romantic couple Dove and Hawk: Dove is strategic, defensive and lithe - the opposite of Hawk, an aggressive, offensive bruiser." Both roles are recurring and have the option to become series regulars or topline a potential spin-off series. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED DAN LEVY PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Dan Levy ("The Goldbergs") has received a put pilot commitment from the network for a multi-camera comedy about "a young couple that is trying to hold on to their easier past while navigating their chaotic new life with a house that is never empty, always loud and always full of tiny toys to trip over." Marc Firek, DRP Doug Robinson Productions' Doug Robinson and 3 Arts Entertainment's Dave Miner and Avi Gilbert will also executive produce for Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Bobby Cannavale is set to return as Will's cop ex-boyfriend Vince D'Angelo during the show's upcoming revival. (TVLine.com)
YOU'RE THE WORST (FXX) - Robin Riker has been cast as Fay Cottumaccio, Lindsay (Kether Donohue) and Becca's (Janet Varney) mother, in a two-episode arc. (THR.com)
Z: THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING (Amazon) - The streaming service has shuttered the show's previously announced second season. The news comes despite said season being in pre-production and $7 million already been spent. (THR.com)
