BLACK ROSE ANTHOLOGY (The CW, New!) - Jill Blotevogel is spearheading "a one-hour horror anthology series written and directed entirely by women" at the netlet, "which will explore some of humanity's deepest fears from a woman's unique perspective." Alpine Labs, Flower Films and MasiMedia are all behind the project with Jamie Denenberg, Kevin Abrams, Drew Barrymore, Nancy Juvonen, Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell, Anthony Masi, Nick Phillips and Lotti Pharriss Knowles likewise executive producing. DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Courtney Ford, real-life wife of co-star Brandon Routh, has been cast in the recurring role of Damien Darhk's (Neal McDonough) daughter Eleanor, who is "smart and cunning with a charming dose of otherworldly creepiness - think Wednesday Addams all grown up." GREENLIT (NBC, New!) - Writer Kevin O'Hare, director Phillip Noyce and actor/producer Milo Ventimiglia are set to team for a new drama at the Peacock about "a highly-skilled task force comprised of five federal agents with backgrounds in the FBI, Secret Service, IRS, and SWAT responsible for protecting members of law enforcement who have been targeted for murder, or "greenlit," by different criminal organizations." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour with Andrew Lenchewski, DiVide Pictures' Ventimiglia and Russ Cundiff as well as Noyce executive producing and O'Hare as a co-executive producer. LETHAL WEAPON (FOX) - Lynn Collins is set to recur on the new season as Molly, "a likeable, radiant woman with an edge. She is one of Martin Riggs' (Clayne Crawford) childhood friends; they've known each since they were kids in Texas. She moved to California so her 8-year-old son could be near his father, her husband, Jake, while he's in prison. She's described as a nice person who wants to do the right thing." (THR.com)
MAGICIANS, THE (Syfy) - Dina Meyer has scored an arc on the upcoming season as the Stone Queen, "a no-nonsense woman who hails from a faraway land in Fillory and offers an interesting proposition for an alliance." (Deadline.com)
RISE (NBC) - Stephanie J. Block and Mark Tallman have both scored recurring roles on the midseason drama as Patricia, "Simon's mother, a devout Catholic who ends up at odds with her husband over their son's involvement in a controversial high school play"; and Detrell Thorne, "Robbie's successful dad, [who] has a beautiful young wife and oozes charm." TRUE DETECTIVE (HBO) - The pay channel is formally moving forward with a third installment of the series, which will "tell the story of a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods." Mahershala Ali will star as Wayne Hays, "a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas." Nic Pizzolatto and Jeremy Saulnier will serve as directors with the former writing every script save for episode four with David Milch. (Deadline.com)
WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Kyle Bornheimer will drop by the show's revival as Lenny, "a security guard." (Deadline.com)
