SEASON FIVE OF MTV'S SERIES "DECODED" STARRING FRANCHESCA RAMSEY PREMIERED TODAY
New York, NY (April 5, 2017) - The fifth season of MTV's series "Decoded" starring Franchesca Ramsey launched this afternoon YouTube and Facebook and premiered earlier today on MTV's Snapchat Discover channel, taking full advantage of MTV's digital and social footprint to reach as many young people as possible. "Decoded" is a weekly series where the fearless Franchesca Ramsey tackles race, pop culture, and other uncomfortable things, in funny and thought-provoking ways.

On an all-new season of MTV's critically acclaimed, award-winning "Decoded," Franchesca Ramsey is back with episodes tackling some of the most important topics affecting youth. She'll dive deep into topics including poverty myths, LGBTQ issues, immigration, legalizing weed and mental illness with humor and her unique POV, making season five our most anticipated yet. "Decoded" has also recently been nominated for The Webby Awards.
Today's premiere focuses on celebrity look-a-likes, making note of several recent high-profile red carpet screw ups and how they relate to own-race bias.
