ABC'S 'SHARK TANK' TO HOLD OPEN CASTING CALL AT
NY TECHDAY IN NEW YORK CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 18

"Shark Tank," the critically acclaimed entrepreneurial reality show that has become a culturally defining series, will be holding an open casting call at NY TechDay in New York, New York, on Tuesday, April 18, at Pier 94 (711 12th Avenue, New York NY 10019)
NY TechDay (http://www.nytechday.com) is the U.S.'s largest event for startups. TechDay launched with a goal of fostering and highlighting emerging technology. Since TechDay's inception, the event has introduced thousands of startups to the investing community, press, talent and countless users. 2017 marks the 6th anniversary and will boast startups large and small.
The "Shark Tank" open casting call will give NY TechDay attendees and any other entrepreneurs the opportunity to complete a one-minute pitch of their idea, product or business to a member of the show's official casting team. The format of the one-minute pitch is nearly identical to those commonly seen on the show itself each week.
Numbered wristbands (which will determine the order in which entrepreneurs make thier "Shark Tank" pitch) will be distributed on the property from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The interviews begin at 10:00 a.m. sharp and will continue all day.
To apply for the "Shark Tank" open casting call, complete the official Application Packet (http://abc.go.com/shows/shark-tank/applications). The Application Packet can be downloaded from the show's official website and must be completed when you bring it with you to the event. The Application Packet contains a wide variety of detailed questions about your business, product, brand or idea, so it is advised that you have it completed well in advance of the actual event.
