Based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's popular '90's cult comic book franchise of the same name, "Preacher" season one follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by the renegade spawn of an angel and demon and gains the power to control people with just a word. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Academy Award(R) nominee Ruth Negga) and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) are thrust into a twisted battle spanning Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
