THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will broadcast live following President Donald Trump's address to the joint session of Congress on Tuesday, Feb. 28 (11:35 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Colbert will host from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York and welcome actress Lisa Kudrow and former White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest as his guests.
This will mark the 15th time THE LATE SHOW has broadcast live, including the election night special on SHOWTIME. The live broadcasts during the political conventions in July 2016, following the presidential and vice presidential debates, and around the election in November 2016, earned strong ratings as well as critical acclaim.
THE LATE SHOW has finished the past two weeks as the #1 most watched show in late night and has won in the overnight ratings the past five nights in a row.
