NEW YORK, NY - January 31, 2017 - MTV and VH1 today announced a first-look production and talent deal with executive producer and TV personality, Terrence Jenkins (best known as "Terrence J"). Through his company, Jenkins Entertainment Group, he has been optioned to develop and executive produce original content for both MTV and VH1. Additionally, Jenkins has been tapped to provide on-air hosting duties throughout the year for potential projects including tentpole pre-shows, live events, aftershows and original series for both nets. "MTV and VH1 are some of the most iconic television brands in the world," said Terrence Jenkins. "I grew up watching both and I can't wait to bring my POV in programming and personality to these networks and their loyal viewers."

"We're excited to have Terrence J join the MTV and VH1 families in both executive producer and on-air capacities," said Amy Doyle, General Manager of MTV, VH1 and Logo. "His past work has earned him fans around the globe and we know he'll bring his signature voice to our brands."

From hosting to acting in worldwide box office hit films including Think Like a Man, Think Like a Man Too and The Perfect Match to penning his first literary work, The Wealth Of My Mother's Wisdom and all the credentials in between, the New York native has shown skilled versatility among a vast number of different arenas. After seven years of hosting BET's "106 & Park," Terrence is one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood as the former co-anchor of the international news program "E!
