BEING MARY JANE (BET) - Gabrielle Union has settled her multi-million-dollar breach of contract lawsuit against the network. "BET Networks is pleased to announce that they have reached an amicable agreement with Gabrielle Union and look forward to sharing the new season of 'Being Mary Jane' with its loyal fans beginning January 10, 2017," the network said today in a statement. CASE OF, THE: JONBENÉT RAMSEY (CBS) - Burke Ramsey, the older brother of JonBenét, has filed a $750 million lawsuit against CBS, producer Critical Content and a number of consultants involved with the program for laying the blame for said murder on him during the series. "The accusation that Burke Ramsey killed his sister was based on a compilation of lies, half-truths, manufactured information, and the intentional omission and avoidance of truthful information about the murder of JonBenét Ramsey," the lawsuit says. DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Matt Angel has been cast as a younger version of George Lucas on the series, which sees a time aberration in which George Lucas quits film school, to disastrous results for Ray (Brandon Routh) and Nate (Nick Zano). (EW.com, 12/27)
FAMILY GUY (FOX) - Carrie Fisher, who died Tuesday, will still appear in in two forthcoming episodes of the animated comedy, having completed her voice work on said installments.
