#BLESSED (NBC, New!) - Alex Blagg ("@midnight") has sold a single-camera comedy to the Peacock about "an eccentric group of parent bloggers who work at a digital "mommy media" company and the recently divorced single dad hired to manage them." Universal Television is behind the half-hour with The Jackal Group's Gail Berman and Joe Earley; Sonar Entertainment's Thomas Lesinski and Jenna Santoianni; and Peacock Alley Entertainment's Carrie Mudd likewise executive producing. 12 MONKEYS (Syfy) - Hannah Waddingham and Faran Tahir are both bound for the new season. She'll play Magdalena, "a member of an apocalyptic cult charged with protecting the Witness"; while he's set as Mallick, "an imposing and devout enforcer of the Army of the 12 Monkeys who resides in Titan." CRATER LAKE (AMC, New!) - Ron Leshem ("The Gordin Cell") has set up a new drama at the cable channel billed as "a life-affirming, character-driven show about death." Keshet Studios is behind the hour with Melanie Marnich also executive producing, presumably for AMC Studios. (Deadline.com)
FARGO (FX) - Executive producer Warren Littlefield has inked a two-year first-look deal with Fox 21 Television Studios. Said pact will cover the cable output for his The Littlefield Co. banner. (Deadline.com)
FLASH, THE (The CW) - Jessica Camacho ("Sleepy Hollow") has been cast as DC Comics heroine Gypsy on the series. No other details however were given. (TheWrap.com)
FURNISS (AMC, New!) - Kyle Killen ("Awake") has booked a potential drama at the network about "a teenage orphan's new life with her birth father and his family, complicated by her connection to secret supernatural events in their rural town." Melanie Marnich will also executive produce, presumably for AMC Studios. (Deadline.com)
HOW I MET YOUR FATHER (New!) - Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger ("This Is Us") are spearheading a new potential spin-off of "How I Met Your Mother," billed as "an ensemble show that tells the story from a female point of view." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the project, with now Sony Pictures Television-based creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas receiving executive producing credits. Said duo, alongside Emily Spivey, were previously behind another attempt, "How I Met Your Dad," in 2014 for CBS. Aptaker and Berger will pen the script on spec before taking it to networks. ONE DAY AT A TIME (Netflix) - Original series star Mackenzie Phillips is set to appear on the revival series however in a new role: Pam, "a psychologist and leader of a female veterans' therapy group that Penelope (Justina Machado) reluctantly attends in a later episode." (THR.com)
RIVERDALE (The CW) - Molly Ringwald has been cast as Archie's mother Mary Andrews on the upcoming series. Luke Perry also stars as Archie's father, Fred. (Deadline.com)
STAR TREK: DISCOVERY (CBSAA) - Sonequa Martin-Green ("The Walking Dead") has booked the lead role on the much-ballyhooed drama. She'll play Lt. Cmdr. Rainsford. Her involvement will reportedly will be concurrent with the AMC series, where she plays Sasha Williams. (Deadline.com)
