NEW YORK, December 8, 2016 - The aliens have finally landed as Comedy Central premieres its latest animated series "Jeff & Some Aliens" on Wednesday, January 11 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT following the premiere of the seventh and final season of "Workaholics."
A spin-off of the animated anthology series "TripTank," the ten-episode season follows Jeff (voiced by Brett Gelman), Earth's most average guy, and three Azurian aliens, Sammy, Jimmy and Ted (all voiced by Alessandro Minoli) who live with him in his shitty one bedroom/one bath apartment. The aliens were sent to Earth to observe the intricate complexities of the human condition, but mostly end up just wreaking havoc on Jeff's life. Guest voices throughout the season include Pamela Adlon, Nat Faxon, Rob Huebel, Keegan-Michael Key, Richard Kind, and Malcolm McDowell.
In the season premiere "Jeff and Some Honor Killings," Jeff inadvertently kills an alien on the planet of Azuria and is forced to kill a human on Earth to restore balance and prevent an intergalactic war.
Fans of "Jeff & Some Aliens" can connect with the show by watching clips and original digital content on Snapchat Discover, Facebook and Twitter where they will receive a look inside the world of Jeff and his alien roommates, their unusual technologies and the aliens' reactions to common human objects. In December, fans will also be treated to a Christmas special to be released exclusively on Snapchat Discover and Facebook featuring classic holiday moments like the aliens and Jeff exchanging presents - turns out alien presents can be kind of dangerous.
Season one episodes of "Jeff & Some Aliens" will also be available via cc.com on the day each new episode premieres to fans who authenticate via their cable or satellite provider, as well as via the Comedy Central App. In addition, they be available the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Microsoft Movies & TV, Verizon Multi-Screen, Google Play, Frontier Communications, and Sony Interactive Entertainment.
The series is executive produced and created by Sean Donnelly and Alessandro Minoli and executive produced by ShadowMachine's Corey Campodonico and Alex Bulkley. The animation is produced by ShadowMachine. Monika Zielinska, Ian Friedman and Daniel Wolfberg are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
