Additionally, Lou Diamond Phillips will guest on an upcoming episode as Lincoln, "the officious and no-nonsense U.S. Deputy Marshal who heads a Special Operation Group's tactical team." (Deadline.com, TVLine.com)
INSECURE (HBO) - Natasha Rothwell's Kelli has been promoted to series regular for the show's recently ordered second season. Additionally, HBO has made a development deal with Rothwell - who also serves as a writer on the series - for a comedy project, which she would write and star in. (Deadline.com)
LIBBY & MALCOLM (ABC) - Emmy-winner Courtney B. Vance ("The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story") is set to star opposite Felicity Huffman in the proposed comedy, about "two polar opposite political pundits - Libby (Huffman) and Malcolm (Vance) - who fall in love despite all odds and form an insta-family as well as a work partnership." Kenya Barris and Vijal Patel are both behind the ABC Studios-based half-hour, which has a pilot production commitment. Huffman and Vance as well as E. Brian Dobbins will also receive executive producer credits. (Deadline.com)
MISSING AMERICAN WOMAN (FOX, New!) - Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson ("New Girl") have sold a new single-camera comedy to the network about "a sheltered girl who's never worked a day in her life. When she goes missing after a shipwreck, she embraces the opportunity to start her life over, working at a remote resort with a crew of slackers and weirdos." Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar will also executive produce the project, which has a penalty attached, for 20th Century Fox Television. (Deadline.com)

(Deadline.com)
TERROR, THE (AMC) - Edward Ashley, Liam Garrigan and Ronan Raftery have all scored roles on the anthology drama. Ashley and Garrigan will play "stewards aboard the HMS Terror and Raftery will play a Lieutenant on the HMS Terror." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ALAN BALL PROJECT (HBO) - Holly Hunter ("Top of the Lake") has signed on to star in Alan Ball's new drama series for the pay channel. The project "focuses on a contemporary multi-racial family. Philosophy professor Greg Bishop and his lawyer wife Audrey Black (Hunter) are socially conscious idealists who decided to build a family by adopting children from Vietnam, Somali and Colombia before having their own child in their 40s. This seemingly perfect, progressive family is in actuality harboring deep rifts. Then, one of the children begins to see things others cannot. Is it mental illness? Or something else?"
