TV ONE INKS MULTI-YEAR PRODUCTION PACT WITH SWIRL FILMS

Swirl Films to Exclusively Produce Original Movies And Scripted Television Series

SILVER SPRING, MD - Nov. 16, 2016 - Bolstering its robust content pipeline of compelling, high-quality original programming, TV One has signed a multi-year deal with Atlanta-based production company Swirl Films. The agreement was announced today by TV One Senior Vice President of Programming and Production D'Angela Proctor and Swirl Films Founder and CEO Eric Tomosunas.

Swirl Films, under the leadership of Tomosunas and Producer Keith Neal will oversee production of original television movies and scripted television series exclusively for TV One.

"Swirl has an outstanding team that has risen to the challenge of producing multiple genres of television programming, from made for television movies to scripted dramas to a multi-camera awards show," said Proctor. "Very few production companies can consistently produce quality content at a price point that makes sense for the network and we look forward to marrying the Swirl team with storytellers who want to tell fascinating stories that resonate with our audience."

Led by Tomosunas and Neal, under the terms of the exclusive deal, Swirl Films will oversee production of live event specials, original movies and scripted series for TV One. In 2016, Swirl Films produced the following projects for TV One: The National Action Network's 2016 Triumph Awards, Here We Go Again, Ringside, Chasing Waterfalls� The Secret She Kept, Definitely Divorcing and Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story .
