SCIENCE CHANNEL'S #1 SERIES "WHAT ON EARTH?" RETURNS FOR A THIRD SEASON NOV. 15 AT 9PM
Today, more than 4000 satellites circle the earth. Every day, they uncover new mysterious phenomena. Some defy easy explanation. Science Channel's top series 'WHAT ON EARTH?' uses state of the art imaging technology, together with incisive analysis from experts within the military and intelligence communities and leading scientists, to search for answers. 'WHAT ON EARTH? returns for an all new season on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 9PM.
WHAT ON EARTH? reveals our planet as it's never been seen before. The series has investigated mysteries from strange geological occurrences to weird man-made structures. In the season premiere on Nov. 15, the series takes on what appears to be a legendary treasure hidden in the Grand Canyon and a city-size chunk of ice that suddenly disappears in Antarctica, among other topics.
WHAT ON EARTH? concluded its second season on Science Channel earlier this year on March 1 and became the network's most watched series of all time with a season average of 794,000 viewers in L+3. The series grew over the second season as the debut on Jan. 26 averaged 780,000 viewers while the season finale averaged 832,000 viewers. During the season run on February 23, WHAT ON EARTH? broke into Science Channel's Top 10 most watched telecasts of all time (#8) with 878,000 viewers.
