PlayStation Users Get HBO and HBO NOW Just in Time for the
Highly Anticipated New Drama Series, Westworld
NEW YORK September 15, 2016 - Home Box Office, Inc. announced an agreement to bring HBO and Cinemax to PlayStation(TM)Vue, the pioneering Internet-based live TV service from Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). Additionally, HBO NOW will be coming to the PlayStation(R)4 (PS4(TM)) and PlayStation(R)3 (PS3(TM)) systems for new and existing HBO NOW subscribers. Users who subscribe to HBO through PlayStation Vue will also be able to access HBO NOW on all supporting devices at no extra charge.
The launch of HBO and Cinemax on PlayStation Vue marks the first time that either network's live programming is available directly to consumers as a standalone offering without the need of a bundle subscription. HBO and Cinemax will be available for $15 each per month through PlayStation Vue.

HBO and Cinemax on PlayStation Vue, and HBO NOW on PS4 and PS3 systems, will launch ahead of the Oct. 2 premiere of the highly anticipated new HBO series Westworld, created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. PlayStation Vue users who subscribe to HBO can also instantly access every season of HBO's addictive original programming, thought-provoking documentaries, thrilling sports programming and the latest and greatest must-see box office blockbusters via PlayStation Vue or by logging in to HBO NOW on any device.
PlayStation Vue is available to TV audiences nationwide, covering more than 200 TV markets in the U.S. PlayStation Vue is accessible through popular devices such as PS4 and Roku. Users with an existing PlayStation Vue subscription can also access the service on iPad(R), iPhone(R) and Android phones and tablets through the PlayStation Vue mobile app. Google Chromecast is also supported via compatible devices. With PlayStation Vue's unmatched cloud DVR, users can record hundreds of shows at once with conflict-free recording. Additionally, a single PlayStation Vue subscription allows users to simultaneously stream content across different devices.
With a PlayStation Vue subscription, users can access programming from more than 50 network mobile apps or websites, simply by logging in with their PlayStation(TM)Network email address and password. The mobile apps and websites are developed by network programmers and are a separate offering from PlayStation Vue, but can be used at no additional cost.
