MEET THE CAST:

WENDY CREDLE - Entertainment Lawyer & Executive Coach

A&R executive turned entertainment lawyer, Wendy has made her mark in the music industry navigating the careers of several multiplatinum, Grammy award winning artists, including Ne-Yo, Anthony Hamilton, and Chrisette Michele. Wendy's contract negotiations are legendary and are regularly sited and referenced by other attorneys. Wendy considers herself to be the O.G. of the group but the younger generation of attorneys are determined to steal her crown and take over her throne.

KENDELL KELLY - Intellectual Property Attorney

D.C. based intellectual property attorney, Kendell worked at NASA beginning in High School, which she graduated from at 16, and continued working there throughout college at Spelman and Georgia Tech. Kendell has always been a go-to attorney for technical and entertainment IP advice, fielding questions for the likes of Albert Sye-beverage brand consultant to Core-Hydration, Conjure Cognac and celebrity trainer Hollywood Hino, in addition to many other celebrity brands artists and athletes. Kendell is moving to New York to be "where the power is," but first she has to deal with a cheating boyfriend and a rival attorney who wastes no time throwing shade on her emotional stability.

DANA WHITFIELD - Trial Attorney

When she's not suing major corporations for massive settlements as a litigator, Dana negotiates deals for artists, like her husband, Lord Jamar of Brand Nubian. As Lord Jamar's attorney, Dana has handled his transition into acting, negotiating his contracts to appear in "The Sopranos," "Oz," and his current role on HBO's "The Night Of." Now that Jamar has his own music production company, Dana has been busy handling contracts for all of his new artists. But now, Dana wants more - she wants to become an entertainment attorney, AND an artist manager. Dana intends to expand into artist management, but has to overcome the barriers put up by her opinionated husband --who doesn't want his "Queen" to be mixing with "grimy" music industry wannabees.

KELLY SHAPIRO - General Counsel Attorney

Born and raised in Hermosa Beach, CA, Kelly (aka Malibu Kelly, aka #ShapiroTheHero) knew she wanted to be an attorney at a young age, and was always fascinated with east coast hip-hop and the entertainment lawyers behind the scenes. Kelly graduated from Harvard Law School and started her career in Philadelphia, practicing corporate law by day, and learning entertainment law by night, assisting artists through pro bono organizations. After almost 10 years on the east coast, Kelly returned to the west coast to work at a real estate investment trust. A few years ago, Kelly made entertainment law her full-time job. In addition to representing many celebrity clients, Kelly also serves as General Counsel of a fashion-tech startup - Thesis Couture. Kelly is looking to expand her entertainment law practice to the east coast and can't wait to dump her LA boyfriend and move to New York - where she won't let friendship get in the way of earning more power, more money, and more respect.

NAKIA THOMAS - Corporate/Fashion Attorney

Nakia, who was born in Jamaica and raised in the Bronx, is a double Ivy League alum who attended Brown University at the age of 16, where she excelled academically and athletically, and the University of Pennsylvania for law school. Nakia has worked as a corporate transactional lawyer in Philadelphia, Dubai and New York City - all while nurturing her passion for fashion. She started her StyleChile fashion and lifestyle blog when she was a second-year lawyer in an international law firm. Nakia's blog has facilitated introductions to emerging and established designers, fashion and lifestyle entrepreneurs, investors, entertainers and models. Nakia wants to make strong corporate alliances to enhance her fashion brand, and has no trouble switching allegiances between her friends to be on the winning side.

TIFFANY BALLARD - Entertainment Attorney

Tiffany is a street smart and book smart attorney who represents writers and producers that create huge hits for some of the world's biggest artists. Some of her clients include Grammy nominated Anonymous (Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Empire TV show), Syk Sense (Drake, Bryson Tiller, Kendrick Lamar, Tinashe), Deonte' (Chris Brown, Lloyd), singer-songwriter Kris Collins, production duo The Watcherz (Wiz Khalifa, Bow Wow) and others who have written/produced for Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Ciara and B.O.B. The other women look down on Tiffany for being too "hood" but she currently has the hottest roster of artists and producers--and loves calling out the others on their bourgie "fakeness."

ED WOODS - Entertainment Attorney

Ed is at the center of the hip hop entertainment lawyers. He has worked closely with some of the biggest names in the industry from Diddy and Usher to Wesley Snipes. Some of his management clients included Cassie and Ryan Leslie, and he previously represented Jay-Z, FUBU, Allen Iverson, Peter Gunz, Stephanie Mills, and the majority of Bad Boy's Hitmen producers. Currently, Ed provides legal advice for Stevie J, Kelly Price, Cisco, and Tara Wallace, just to name a few. Additionally, Ed works in the Music, TV, Film, Merchandise, Literary, Branding and Social Media Industries; he is a motivational speaker and author; former chairman of BESLA (Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association); and an Adjunct Entertainment Law Professor at Howard University School of Law. Ed is a mentor to many of the ladies in the group, but finds it hard to stay above the fray when the group's dramatics ignite.
