Legendary skateboarder Rick McCrank goes on a journey exploring abandoned places across the country with the people who love them long after the lights have gone out. ABANDONED pays tribute to these modern day ruins, seemingly lost and forgotten, but not by everyone. On his journey, McCrank explores empty malls, schools, NASCAR tracks as well as emptied towns, an amusement park, the desolate Salton Sea, as well as the legendary Route 66 and the often maligned Detroit as it fights its way back from oblivion.
