AMERICAN CRIME (ABC) - Lili Taylor, an Emmy nominee for her work on season two, will return to the anthology for its third season. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Scott Elrod ("Grey's Anatomy") has booked a multi-episode arc as "lifestyle celebrity Travis Brenner [who] is drop-dead gorgeous, with a million Instagram followers to boot." (TVLine.com)
CLAWS (TNT) - Karrueche Tran is the latest addition to the pilot as manicurist Virginia. "Full of attitude, she has been filling in at the nail salon and makes no effort to hide her boredom and impatience with the job." (Deadline.com)
DISJOINTED (Netflix) - Jessica Lu ("Awkward") has been tapped for a role on the upcoming comedy as "one of the budtenders, a big-hearted, type A over-achiever trying to medicate herself back to normal." (Deadline.com)
HAVANA QUARTET (Starz) - Tom Fontana has signed on to executive produce the proposed Antonio Banderas-led drama. A writers' room has been set up in anticipation of a series order. (Deadline.com)
I'M DYING UP HERE (Showtime) - Jeffrey Nordling and Obba Babatundé will both recur on the upcoming dramedy as Eli Goldman, "a member of Goldie's (Melissa Leo) inner circle" and Barton Royce, "a comedy manager," respectively. (Deadline.com)
LA LAW (NBC) - Co-creator Steven Bochco and fellow alum Billy Finkelstein are looking to make the rounds with a follow up to the former NBC mainstay. 20th Century Fox Television is producing. No specifics were given. (Deadline.com)
MADAM SECRETARY (CBS) - Morgan Freeman and Jane Pauley will both return for the show's third season premiere. (EW.com)
MICRONESIAN BLUES (Cinemax, New!) - "Banshee" alums Jonathan Tropper and Greg Yaitanes are set to team with Patrick Dempsey for a new drama at the pay channel about "a burned out LA cop who accepts a teaching job in Micronesia, only to find himself caught up in a bloody war between tribal gangsters, lawless mercenaries, and crooked CIA agents." The project, based on the true story of Los Angeles cop Bryan Vila, is also executive produced by Shifting Gears Productions' Joannie Burstein with Justin Franklin as a co-producer. (Deadline.com)
NOTORIOUS (ABC) - Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs will be appearing as himself in an upcoming episode of the drama. (EW.com)
PROTOTYPE (Syfy) - The cable channel has passed on the Jack Davenport/Cote de Pablo-led pilot however producer Universal Cable Productions plans to shop it elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
PURE GENIUS (CBS) - Creator Jason Katims has inked a new three-year overall deal with Universal Television. The pact covers his duties on the series and Hulu's "The Path" as well as any future development from his and Michelle Lee's True Jack Productions banner. (Deadline.com)
QUEENS OF DRAMA (Pop) - The reality series has been axed after one season by the cable channel. (Deadline.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant will return for the show's second season however will no longer be a series regular. (TVLine.com)
UNTITLED JON STEWART PROJECT (HBO) - The pay channel has detailed Jon Stewart's first project as "an animated parody of a cable news network." Adding, "the animation is done in a way that allows [Stewart] to comment on events in real time." It's understood said effort will roll out as a digital series before the November Presidential election with episodes ultimately packaged as half-hours for the linear network. (Deadline.com)
