Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

BLOWBACK (The CW, New!) - Writer Hannah Shakespeare ("Killer Women") is set to team with director Justin Lin (Star Trek: Beyond) for a new drama about when "a young financial analyst's life is flipped upside down when his wife goes missing, he discovers a dead body in his hotel room, and everything he took for truth turns out to be a lie." The project has sold on spec late last season (based off a previous spec by Brian MacGregor) and has since received an order for two additional scripts by Shakespeare and a bible. Warner Bros. Television, Intrigue, Tornante and Perfect Storm Entertainment are all behind the hour with Michael Eisner, Lauren Corrao, Lucas Carter and Tariq Jalil likewise executive producing and Danielle Woodrow and Troy Craig Poon producing. (Deadline.com)
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (FOX) - Maya Rudolph is set to recur on the series as "a U.S. Marshal who is Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt's (Andre Braugher) official liaison while they remain in the Witness Protection Program, and their only real contact to their former lives." (TVLine.com)
CONVICTION (ABC) - Daniel Franzese ("Looking") has joined the cast of the upcoming drama. He'll play Jackson Morrison. "Equal parts brother and best friend to Hayes, he is a sharp-witted, sophisticated political operative who runs his mother Harper's Senate campaign. He's one of the only people who can pierce Hayes' tough exterior and call her on her B.S." Franzese succeeds Daniel DiTomasso from the original pilot. (Deadline.com)
DISJOINTED (Netflix) - Aaron Moten has been tapped for a role on the Kathy Bates-led comedy about Ruth, "a lifelong advocate for legalization who's finally living her dream as the owner of an L.A.-area cannabis dispensary." He'll play Travis, "Ruth's son who is confident of his mother's ability to run their shop, but has bigger visions for what the dispensary could one day become." (TVLine.com)
FINDING CHANDRA (TNT, New!) - Scott Higham and Sara Horowitz's book "Finding Chandra: A True Washington Murder Mystery" is being developed as a limited series by the cable channel. Keith Huff will pen the script for Sony Pictures Television with Lawrence Kasdan, Judith Verno and Diane Sokolow executive producing, the former of which may direct. The project presumably will detail everything from the intern's disappearance in May 2001 to the "media sensation after she was romantically linked to Congressman Gary Condit" to the dropping of charges against Ingmar Guandique, the man convicted of the murder, last year. (Deadline.com)
HAWAII FIVE-0 (CBS) - Christine Lahti's Doris McGarrett and Michelle Borth's Catherine Rollins will both return for the show's landmark 150th episode. (TVLine.com)
SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Alicia Coppola, Arden Myrin, Pasha Lychnikoff and Ruby Modine are all bound for the new season in recurring roles: Sue, "a blue collar, no-nonsense woman who works with Ian Monaghan as the supervisor of a group of EMTs"; New Monica/Delores, "a homeless woman who hooks up with Frank"; Yvan, "father of Svetlana (Isidora Goreshter)"; and Sierra, "one of the new waitresses at Patsy Pies managed by Fiona." (Deadline.com)
SUPERIOR DONUTS (CBS) - Darien Sills-Evans and Anna Baryshnikov have both scored roles on the Jermaine Fowler/Judd Hirsch-led comedy pilot. Baryshnikov will play a new character, Maya, "a perpetual graduate student with multiple degrees who comes to Superior Donuts to work on her Ph.D. dissertation." Sills-Evans then is set as James, "a police officer and regular customer of Superior Donuts." He'll take over for James Earl from the original pilot. (Deadline.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Jon Huertas ("Castle") will recur on the Peacock's newcomer as Mike, "Jack's (Milo Ventimiglia) co-worker and best friend." (Deadline.com)
TOUR DE PHARMACY (HBO) - Orlando Bloom has signed onto the Andy Samberg-led mockumentary in an unspecified role. Daveed Diggs, Will Forte, Julia Ormond, Phylicia Rashad, Dolph Lundgren, John Cena, Mike Tyson and Nathan Fielder also star. (THR.com)
UNTITLED ALAN BALL PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Alan Ball ("True Blood") is back in business with the pay channel for a new drama which "focuses on a contemporary multi-racial family: a philosophy professor, his lawyer wife, their three adopted children from Somalia, Vietnam and Colombia, and their sole biological child. This seemingly perfect, progressive family is in actuality harboring deep rifts. Then, one of the children begins to see things others cannot. Is it mental illness? Or something else? The series is a tragicomic meditation on the complicated forces at work on us all in America today." The project, which has a series commitment, is part of Ball's new two-year overall deal with the network. Peter Macdissi will also executive produce for Ball's Your Face Goes Here banner. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SETH MACFARLANE PROJECT (FOX) - Adrianne Palicki and Scott Grimes are the latest to board the sci-fi drama, which "follows the adventures of the Orville, a not-so-top-of-the-line exploratory ship in Earth's interstellar fleet." Palicki plays Kelly Grayson, "Ed's (Seth MacFarlane) ex-wife and the newly appointed First Officer of the Orville"; while Grimes is set as Gordon, "Ed's best friend whom he hires to pilot the Orville."
