BEHIND ENEMY LINES (FOX) - The network is taking another stab at its small screen take on the Owen Wilson/Gene Hackman-led 2001 feature, which "takes place in the midst of critical peace negotiations between the U.S. and Russia as three American soldiers are shot down behind enemy lines in Eastern Ukraine." Nikki Toscano will take over scripting duties from Jeffrey Nachmanoff. 20th Century Fox Television remains behind the hour with Davis Entertainment's John Davis and John Fox as well as Temple Hill Entertainment's Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey executive producing. (Deadline.com)
EMPIRE (FOX) - Sierra McClain has scored an arc on the series as Nessa, "Shine's (new series regular Xzibit) loyal protege who, upon first glance, is merely a timid follower to Lucious' former partner in crime. A second listen, however, reveals she is a rare talent with a killer voice whom Lucious (Terrence Howard) is determined to sign to Empire's roster." (THR.com)
ROSEWOOD (FOX) - Eddie Cibrian has signed on to the new season as Aaron Slade, "East Miami Police's enigmatic newest member who will both challenge and complicate an already messy situation between Rosewood (Morris Chestnut) and Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz)." He'll take over for Brian Austin Green, who was previously cast in said role. (TVLine.com)
