SCIENCE CHANNEL TO AIR "DRONED" THIS SUMMER
(New York) - Science Channel will show the world through a different lens when DRONED premieres this summer. The series, which is shot on location in countries that include the Bahamas, Mexico, Barbados, Canada and the U.S., will follow drone build teams and their clients while exploring the impact drones are having as viewers get a front row seat to a technology revolution.
Drones have many purposes that allow versatility in mapping terrain and providing detailed renders of the environment. A mixture of evolving and innovative technologies and high octane adventure, DRONED will include drones used for various purposes, including search and rescue missions where the drones can drop a life-saving buoy, heavy weather waterproof drones, specialized drones that can help divers locate sharks in the ocean via image scanning hardware, and racing drones.
DRONED is produced for Science Channel through Reckognition Productions with Erich Recker, Fred Paik and Ryan Haake serving as executive producers in conjunction with Mike Israel, Jeff Timmons and Dan Edwards of AirVuz.
