INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY'S JUNE PROGRAMMING SLATE DELIVERS HEALTHY DOSE OF DRAMA WITH FOUR NEW ORIGINAL SERIES

(Silver Spring, Md.) - Investigation Discovery (ID) announced today a jam-packed June programming slate designed to deliver a healthy dose of mystery, suspense and drama. Television's home for true-crime content, ID brings compelling, real stories to the small screen, including premieres of four all-new series, and the return of three fan-favorites.

Leading the lineup is the debut of ID's first serialized docuseries, THE VANISHING WOMEN (Monday, June 6 at 10/9c), which follows an active investigation of a case of six missing women out of Chillicothe, Ohio, where some believe that a serial killer could be on the loose. Then, ID welcomes a new detective to town with the premiere of I AM HOMICIDE on Tuesday, June 14 at 10/9c. The series follows veteran homicide detective Garry McFadden as he uses his deep connection to the community to investigate cases and ultimately protect his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Next, AMERICAN MONSTER (Wednesday, June 1 at 10/9c) uses never-before-seen home videos to take viewers closer-than-ever to some of America's most surprising crimes; and YOUR NUMBER'S UP (Saturday, June 18 at 10/9c) follows the stories of real-life lottery winners whose dreams of happiness came to a tragic and deadly end.

ID's compelling new series are accompanied by three fan-favorite programs, including: the season four debut of DEADLINE: CRIME hosted by investigative journalist and TODAY show co-anchor Tamron Hall; the return of Darren Kavinoky as host of DEADLY SINS; and the season three premiere of THE PERFECT MURDER.

ID's complete June 2016 programming slate is listed below in order of air date:

NEW SERIES

AMERICAN MONSTER

Premieres Wednesday, June 1 at 10/9c

If you looked into the eyes of a killer, would you know? In AMERICAN MONSTER, you find out. For the first time, viewers get closer than ever to some of America's most shocking and surprising crimes. Filled with never-before-seen footage of these devils in disguise, from home movie shots of them playing with their kids to musical performances at high school, from the church cook-out to the wedding video, AMERICAN MONSTER interweaves twisting-turning stories of astonishing crimes, with 'behind-the-scenes' footage of killers at their seemingly most innocent.

THE VANISHING WOMEN

Premieres Monday, June 6 at 10/9c

On the surface, Chillicothe, Ohio is the epitome of quintessential Middle America. But this home in the heartland was catapulted into the national spotlight recently for a much darker claim to fame: a string of six young women have gone missing or been found dead in the past year and a half. The women, all in their 20s and 30s, are believed to have known each other and all have ties to the dark underbelly of this small town, leading the local community to fear a serial killer on the loose. With unprecedented access, ID has teamed with law enforcement, loved ones of the victims, and the community to document the investigation as it unfolds in an effort to bring further attention and help in solving these open cases.

I AM HOMICIDE

Premieres Tuesday, June 14 at 10/9c

Meet homicide detective Garry McFadden, the focus of I AM HOMICIDE. After nearly three decades with the Charlotte Police Department, Det. McFadden has solved more than 700 homicide cases, resulting in a 90-percent success rate with the investigations he pursues. But his work doesn't stop at protecting and serving the community of Charlotte. Chances are that when a call comes in, he knows the victim, the family, or even the perpetrator, because he has made it his mission to be one with the people of Charlotte, operating his investigations out of a local diner instead of the police precinct so he can truly get to know residents across the city and gain their confidence. Det. McFadden uses his street smarts to work the neighborhood networks and gather critical information for leads, at times risking his life by trusting the streets he calls home.

YOUR NUMBER'S UP

Premieres Saturday, June 18 at 10/9c

YOUR NUMBER'S UP follows the stories of real life lottery winners whose dreams of happiness came to a tragic and deadly end. Many of us fantasize about scooping a jackpot, quitting our jobs and going on the vacation of a lifetime. But all too often winning the lottery can trigger infidelity, jealousy and murder. From long-lost relatives coming out of the wood-work asking for money, to being stalked by criminal predators, YOUR NUMBER'S UP proves that when you win the lottery your life doesn't always change for the better...

RETURNING SERIES

THE PERFECT MURDER

Season 3 Premieres Wednesday, June 1 at 9/8c

THE PERFECT MURDER tells the stories of some of the most perplexing murders to come across detectives' desks. With multiple suspects and red herrings at every turn, detectives will have to think smart to catch these killers.

DEADLINE: CRIME WITH TAMRON HALL

Season 4 Premieres Sunday, June 12 at 10/9c

A respected anchor and investigative journalist, Tamron Hall knows first-hand the effects of violent crime. Her older sister was a murder victim in a case that is still officially unsolved. Each episode of DEADLINE: CRIME chronicles Hall's hunt for answers as she sits down for in-depth interviews with key players and hits the street to conduct her own investigations to reveal what caused people to turn to crime and whether justice was ultimately served.

DEADLY SINS

Season 5 Premieres Thursday, June 30 at 9/8c

DEADLY SINS examines the true evils that push everyday individuals beyond the limits of the law. From gluttony and greed to lust, envy, sloth, wrath, and pride, this series reveals scandalous crimes driven by the most basic of human instincts.
