Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland and Fiancée Carré Callaway Renovate Their Dream Detroit Home in DIY Network's "Sight Unseen"

New York [For Immediate Release - March 21, 2016] Rock star Wes Borland, best known as the guitarist and backup vocalist for multi-platinum rock band Limp Bizkit, and his fiancée, fellow musician Carré Callaway, traded their guitars for sledgehammers in DIY Network's new series Sight Unseen. The six-episode series, which premieres in July, features the couple as they move to Detroit to tackle a massive whole-home fixer upper - a seven-bedroom Art Deco mansion - that they purchased after seeing only photos of the property

"Carpentry has always been a hobby and a passion of mine. I used to make skateboard ramps as a kid," said Wes. "I felt adventurous reviving this house and, admittedly, I probably took every chance I could to kick in some walls."

In the premiere episode, Wes and Carré walk through their new house for the first time, finding delight in the welcoming staircase of the foyer and spaciousness of the basement, but also discovering varying degrees of water damage throughout the house. The couple begins the renovation in the master suite where they convert an adjoining bedroom into a walk-in closet into a 1920s-style dressing room. Throughout the series, Wes and Carré experience the ups and downs of any major home restoration project. But as they transform this forgotten property into their new home, they feel more confident that they made the right move.

"Wes and I read obsessively about Detroit's resurgence and the opportunity to be part of a city's revival really resonated with us," said Carré. "Once I saw photos of this house, I knew it was going to be our home. It all fell into place after that."
