Final Presenters Announced for Tonight's Screen Actors Guild Awards

Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Saoirse Ronan to Present at the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R)

Live Simulcast Today, Saturday, Jan. 30 on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT).

LOS ANGELES (Jan. 30, 2016) - Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Saoirse Ronan will be presenters at the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R), Executive Producer Kathy Connell announced today.

The roster of actors who will honor their colleagues at the SAG Awards(R) Ceremony continues to grow, even on the day of the event. These three join previously announced presenters including Patricia Arquette, Abraham Attah, Jason Bateman, Priyanka Chopra, Bryan Cranston, Taye Diggs, Idris Elba, Anna Faris, Tina Fey, Tony Hale, Corey Hawkins, Jon Hamm, SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard, O'Shea Jackson, Jr., Michael Keaton, Keegan-Michael Key, Diane Lane, Brie Larson, Eva Longoria, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anthony Mackie, Rachel McAdams, Helen Mirren, Jason Mitchell, Julianne Moore, Pedro Pascal, Amy Poehler, Eddie Redmayne, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Susan Sarandon, Sarah Silverman, J.K. Simmons, Jacob Tremblay and Kristen Wiig. The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT).

Christian Bale has two SAG Award nominations for his performance in "The Big Short," one for his supporting role and one as part of the cast. Bale previously earned Actors(R) for his supporting role in "The Fighter," for which he also received an Oscar(R), and as a cast member in "American Hustle," along with SAG Award nominations as a cast member in "The Fighter" and in "3:10 to Yuma." Bale will next be seen in Terrence Malick's "Knight of Cups" and "The Promise."

Steve Carrell is nominated this year as a cast member in "The Big Short." He is a three-time SAG Awards honoree, two for his performance in "The Office" television ensemble and another for his performance in the "Little Miss Sunshine" cast. Carrell has previous SAG Award nominations: for his lead role in "Foxcatcher," six for his role as Michael Scott in "The Office" - for which he received an Emmy(R) - and five as a member of "The Office" ensemble cast. He has also been nominated for an Academy Award, seven Golden Globes and nine Emmys. His next film is the Bobby Riggs biopic "Battle of the Sexes."

Saoirse Ronan is a two-time SAG Award nominee. This year she is nominated for her leading role in "Brooklyn," for which she also received Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. Ronan received her previous SAG Award nomination as a member of the cast in "The Grand Budapest Hotel." She will next be seen making her Broadway debut in "The Seagull."

One of the awards season's premier events, the SAG Awards(R) celebrate the outstanding motion pictures and television performances from the previous calendar year. Of the top industry honors presented to actors, only the SAG Awards are selected entirely by performers' peers in SAG-AFTRA, which this year number 116,741. The SAG Awards was the first televised awards show to acknowledge the work of union members and the first to present awards to motion picture casts and television ensembles.
