Celebrities from the World of Entertainment and Sports Will Compete Against Each Other With Their Families to Win Money for Charity

The primetime summer hit, "Celebrity Family Feud," produced by FremantleMedia North America, returns for a second season on the ABC Television Network. Steve Harvey, the highly popular multi-hyphenate standup comedian, actor, author, deejay and Emmy(R) Award-winning game show host, will pit celebrities and their families against each other in a contest to name the most popular responses to a survey-type question posed to 100 people.

In each episode, celebrity families, and their immediate family members or their extended TV families, will compete against each other to win money for charity. Each team will be made up of a celebrity captain with four relatives or friends playing along. The winning celebrity team will be given a chance to win up to $25,000 to donate to a charity of their choice.

Based on Live + 7 Day ratings, "Celebrity Family Feud" was the most successful and most watched new summer show on network television this past summer, which averaged a 2.4 Adult 18-49 demo rating and 9.4 million viewers. It was ABC's highest-rated summer show in two years and also the second most watched among all shows on broadcast last summer. It earned 9.6 million viewers for its finale and was the night's No. 1 primetime telecast.

"Celebrity Family Feud" is produced by FremantleMedia North America. The second season will begin filming in March 2016, and a premiere date will be announced at a later time. "Celebrity Family Feud" is taped in front of a live audience in Los Angeles, California. Gaby Johnston and Jennifer Mullin are executive producers.
