HARROW COUNTY (Syfy, New!) - Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook's Dark Horse comic book is being developed as a drama series by the cable channel. Becky Kirsch will pen the adaptation, which centers on Emmy, "who has always known that the deep, dark woods surrounding her home crawled with ghosts, goblins, and the restless dead. On the eve of her 18th birthday, she learns that she is connected to these creatures and to the land itself in a way she never imagined, for she is the reincarnation of a powerful witch who was put to death on the very day Emmy was born. For this reason, the townsfolk mean to kill her too. In order to survive, Emmy must embrace the unusual powers at her command." Universal Cable Productions is producing. (Deadline.com)

HEIST (NBC, New!) - Chuck Rose ("The Art of More") has sold a potential new drama to the Peacock billed as "a sexy, stylish thriller that follows myriad characters on both sides of a high end jewel heist as they scheme, plot and betray each other on their way to a huge payday that promises to change all their lives." He'll also direct and executive produce the hour via his ABC Studios-based International Famous Players Radio Picture Corporation alongside Stearns Castle's Michael McDonald. (Deadline.com)
