HGTV OFFERS FESTIVE PREMIERES AND ONLINE CONTENT
NEW YORK [For Immediate Release - October 15, 2015] HGTV will offer fun seasonal programming and online content throughout November and December, including holiday episodes of popular series and new one-hour specials. In addition, visitors to HGTV.com/HolidayHouse will find exclusive holiday decorating content, festive entertaining tips and easy DIY projects for the entire home.
Holiday-themed viewing fun will begin with the premiere of All-Star Gingerbread Build on Saturday, November 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This special will showcase HGTV and Food Network stars Drew and Jonathan Scott (Property Brothers), Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes), Egypt Sherrod (Flipping Virgins) and Ron Ben-Israel (Sweet Genius) as they compete in the ultimate holiday bake-off. Later in the season, a special holiday episode of Fixer Upper, which premieres on Tuesday, December 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT will offer a "fly on the wall" experience for viewers. The episode will follow series stars Chip and Joanna Gaines as they renovate and decorate their new bed-and-breakfast for a festive family gathering.
In between, the HGTV holiday schedule will include the annual visit to the "people's house" to capture the behind-the-scenes decorating excitement in White House Christmas 2015. Hosted by designer Genevieve Gorder, the special premieres on Sunday, December 13, at 6 p.m. ET/PT, and will highlight volunteer decorators and staff as they prepare each room for spectacular public holiday tours with themed trees, including the 18 ft. Blue Room tree. House Hunters holiday week, beginning Monday, November 30, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, is the perfect fix for HGTV fans who want to see house hunts in cities with such merry and festive names as Holly, Mich.; Santa Claus, Ind. and Holiday, Fla. And, the network rounds out its holiday offerings with seasonal episodes of Property Brothers, Flip or Flop (Tarek and Christina El Moussa), Tiny House Hunters and House Hunters Renovation.

All-Star Gingerbread Build
Premieres: Saturday, November 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT
In this one-hour competition hosted by Egypt Sherrod, HGTV and Food Network's biggest stars join forces to create life-sized, edible gingerbread houses that amaze and inspire. Teams include Ron Ben-Israel and Jonathan Scott as they go head-to-head against Duff Goldman and Drew Scott in an epic holiday throw down to see who can create the most festive and breathtaking gingerbread abode in just 72 hours.
House Hunters Renovation
Premieres: Saturday, November 28, at 10 p.m. ET/PT
Instead of dreaming about a move-in ready home, the home seekers in House Hunters Renovation instead want to find the best fixer upper. HGTV follows these home improvement enthusiasts as they tour three potential properties that need a major overhaul. In this special episode, the new homeowners must renovate their new place - and then festively decorate it - in time for their first holiday party in their new home.
House Hunters: Holiday Week
Premieres: Monday - Friday at 10 p.m. ET/PT beginning November 30
HGTV will premiere five episodes of its popular House Hunters series featuring cities with holiday-themed names. Each episode showcases a family's house hunt in Bethlehem, Pa., Bethlehem, N.Y., Holly, Mich. and Santa Claus, Ind., the hometown of world's only post office with the Santa Claus name.
Fixer Upper
Premieres: Tuesday, December 1, at 9 p.m. ET/PT
In Fixer Upper, series stars Chip and Joanna Gaines help homebuyers purchase the worst house on the best block and make it beautiful. In this special holiday episode, the Gaines help design, construct and transform the client's home into a unique and inviting space and then decorate it with festive holiday accents.
Flip or Flop
Premieres: Thursday, December 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT
While many people are on the hunt for last minute gifts, Tarek and Christina El Moussa, the popular renovation and real estate stars of Flip or Flop, are shopping for their next short sale in Anaheim, Calif., The clock is ticking for the duo to decide if the house will be their next flip, but are concerned when their contractor points out a few suspicious areas. Once the dust has settled, the couple celebrates the holidays with lots of hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and wrapping gifts with their daughter, Taylor, and new baby boy Brayden.
White House Christmas 2015

Host Genevieve Gorder provides a behind-the-scenes look at volunteers and White House staff as they activate and decorate the iconic American home with the 2015 holiday theme.
Tiny House Hunters
Premieres: Monday, December 14, at 10 p.m. ET/PT and Wednesday, December 16, at 10 p.m. ET/PT
In two special episodes of HGTV's Tiny House Hunters, home seekers across the country want to downsize into streamlined homes that are less than 600 sq. ft. and decorate them for the holidays - including small, trimmed Christmas trees, freshly made wreaths and classic outdoor lighting.
Fixer Upper (Holiday Bed-and-Breakfast Episode)
Premieres: Tuesday, December 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT
Chip and Joanna Gaines turn their attention to the newest project - renovating a 135-year-old Victorian home into a charming bed-and-breakfast. The 2,800 sq. ft. property, once owned by a Texas stagecoach driver, needs a total renovation - new hardwood floors, appliances and cabinetry for the kitchen, a front porch overhaul and moving the second floor staircase. After the renovation is complete, Chip takes the kids to pick the perfect Christmas tree, while Joanna decorates the newly remodeled home with garland, stockings and handmade crafts for the festive family party.
Property Brothers
Premieres: Wednesday, December 23, at 9 p.m. ET/PT
Contractor Jonathan Scott and real estate expert Drew Scott combine their skills to help their client, Gina, find the perfect first home. Growing up in a large family, Gina's dream house would include a big kitchen, dining room and living space so she can host the whole family for the holidays. Drew finds three homes to choose from, each in need of a major renovation, while Jonathan's incredible design plans help Gina see each home's hidden potential. In the end, the brothers surprise Gina with custom-made Christmas decorations that match newly renovated home's design.
