"LOVE & HIP HOP: ATLANTA'S" RASHEEDA FROST TO GUEST-STAR ON NEW FOX DRAMA "ROSEWOOD"
Rasheeda Frost, star of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," will guest-star on ROSEWOOD in the role of "Scrumptious,"
a sexy, loyal and outspoken long-term girlfriend of a connected Miami informant.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the world's hottest cities - Miami - new medical procedural ROSEWOOD stars Morris Chestnut ("Nurse Jackie," "The Best Man" franchise) as DR. BEAUMONT ROSEWOOD, JR., the city's top private pathologist. Brilliant, cool with tons of charisma, Rosewood teams up with the tough-as-nails DETECTIVE ANNALISE VILLA (Jaina Lee Ortiz, "The After"), to uncover clues no one else sees and help the Miami PD solve the city's most challenging cases. The series also stars Lorraine Toussaint ("Orange is the New Black"). Frost is scheduled to first appear on the series in October.
A home grown "Georgia Peach," Frost is an Atlanta-based hip-hop artist and star of the hit reality series "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta." She has been married to Kirk Frost for 15 years and is signed to his label and management company, D-Lo Entertainment. Frost rose to fame with the success of her hit single, "My Bubblegum," which was featured in the box-office smash "Paul Blart: Mall Cop." In 2010, Frost won Mixtape Artist Of The Year (female) at the Southern Entertainment Awards, and she was the first independent artist nominated for BET's Female Hip Hop Artist Of The Year. She also is the owner of ImBossy.com, a successful online apparel and accessories company, as well as Poiz Cosmetics and the store "Pressed."
