SUNDANCE TV PRESENTS A MARATHON OF THE EMMY(R) NOMINATED, PEABODY AWARD-WINNING ORIGINAL MINISERIES "THE HONORABLE WOMAN" ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 13TH STARTING AT 9:00AM ET/PT

MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL STARS IN HER GOLDEN GLOBE(R) WINNING ROLE

In honor of the 67th Emmy(R) Awards, SundanceTV will air a marathon of the original eight-part series, "The Honorable Woman," which is nominated for four Emmy(C) Awards, starting Thursday, August 13th at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT.

Among its four Emmy nominations are Outstanding Limited Series; Outstanding Writing For A Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special; Outstanding Directing For A Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series or a Movie (Maggie Gyllenhaal). The Primetime Emmy Awards will air on FOX in Sunday, September 20th.

Hailed by critics as "a masterpiece," the politically charged spy thriller received an esteemed Peabody Award earlier this year. "The Honorable Woman," written and directed by BAFTA(R) winner Hugo Blick (The Shadow Line), follows Nessa Stein, portrayed by Golden Globe(R) winning actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, whose father was a Zionist arms procurer, and as children, she and her brother witness his assassination. As an adult, inheriting her father's company, she dramatically inverts its purpose from supplying arms to laying high-spec data cabling networks between Israel and the West Bank. Now in her thirties, her sudden appointment to the House of Lords, apparently due to her tireless promotion of projects for reconciliation between the Israelis and Palestinians, creates an international political maelstrom. The mini-series is executive produced by Drama Republic's Greg Brenman (Billy Elliot) and produced by Abi Bach (Small Island).

The schedule for SundanceTV's "The Honorable Woman Marathon" follows below:

Thursday, August 13th:

"Empty Chair" at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT Nessa Stein, a powerful Anglo-Israeli businesswoman, leads an influential organization working towards equality and peace in the Middle East.

"Unfaithful Husband" at 10:15 a.m. ET/PT The relationship between Kasim's kidnapping and the Stein's business partner's death is questioned. More of Nessa's past is uncovered.

"The Killing Call" at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT Nessa is forced to question a close friend and loyal Israeli business partner. The mysterious phone calls amplify, and a risky lead is followed.

"The Ribbon Cutter" 12:45 p.m. ET/PT Going back eight years, a younger Hayden-Hoyle climbs the ranks of MI6 while Nessa and Atika endure atrocities during their time held captive in Gaza.

"Two Hearts" at 2:00 p.m. ET/PT As their captivity continues, a secret is revealed that will bond Atika and Nessa forever; an academic uncovers corruption that could have far reaching consequences.

"The Mother Line" at 3:15 p.m. ET/PT After discovering a factor to the foundation's compromised initiative, Nessa attempts to further distance foundations from her brother.

"The Hollow Wall" at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT Nessa begins to sense a fundamental antagonism between the Israeli government's political objectives and the Stein foundation's philanthropy.

"The Pairing Knife" at 5:45 p.m. ET/PT Despite being feared dead, Nessa re-emerges and makes a final attempt to find Kasim and bring him home.
