-- One-Hour Special Airs Thursday, August 6 at 10/9c --
Dating can be hard, but for these two women, there were three bad dates that truly stood out in their search for Prince Charming. April and Rana take you back to their worst dates ever on TLC's 3 BAD DATES, 1 SOULMATE airing August 6 at 10/9c. But there's a catch - they both ended up marrying one of the guys. Watch as these two women recount their run-ins with the police, high school flings and blind dates, and find out which one they chose for their happily ever after.
April may not have had the best luck with these three men, but one of them was good enough to stick around. We first meet Quincy, an online match who caught April's eye, but the date immediately starts off on a bad foot, and their relationship hits a speed bump when there's a case of mistaken identity. Then there's Alex, April's high school crush. Things seem to be going great, until a weekend away at Alex's cabin when April's almost caught wearing nothing but embarrassment. Finally April meets Scott, who seems to have it all: good looks, charm and wealth. Will his dark secret be too much for April to handle?
Rana knows she's found her soulmate, but there were a few cringe-worthy dates that had to happen first. While starting a new job, Rana meets Nick and there is instant attraction, but several dates later, Nick brings up a blast from the past. Rana and her high school boyfriend Ryan seemed to be destined for marriage - even after breaking up, Ryan said he still wanted to marry her. But at a reunion, Ryan may have different thoughts. Finally there's John, a waiter Rana's mom set her up with. Things seem to be going fine, until John suggests something Rana isn't too happy about. Can she look past his mistake and start fresh?
