New York - July 23, 2015 - Nothing says summertime fun like a carnival! Join Anthony Anderson on the ultimate summer vacation exploring the country's best carnival fare on Carnival Cravings with Anthony Anderson, premiering on Wednesday, August 12th at 10pm ET/PT on Food Network. The ooey, gooey, crispy, and crunchy carnival indulgences lead the way on this coast-to-coast adventure, which leaves no delicious midway bite untasted. Along the way, Anthony visits some of the most popular carnivals in the country, participating in everything from bubble gum blowing contests to lumberjack competitions, and tasting the signature snacks that make these carnivals a foodie delight. From mac and cheese stuffed burgers to bacon-wrapped roasted corn, deep-fried root beer floats to bacon-topped cinnamon roll sundaes, there is sure to be a dish to satisfy everyone's carnival craving!

Episodes include:

Premiering Wednesday, August 12th at 10pm ET/PT - "Sweet Carolina Cravings" Anthony Anderson heads to the Got to Be NC Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina for some southern fried carnival goodness. He tickles his taste buds with everything from redneck egg rolls to the most intense bacon-wrapped deep-fried dessert this side of the Mississippi. After his belly has settled, he tries his hand at the lumberjack competition and bets the farm at the pig races.

Premiering Wednesday, August 19th at 10pm ET/PT - "Ooey-Gooey Golden State" In Sacramento, California for the country fair, Anthony finds cowboys aplenty and enough carnival treats to feed the whole Golden state. He dives into the deep end of carnival food with a burger with a "cheese skirt" and a bacon-topped cinnamon roll sundae. In between bites, he learns how to milk a cow and rides the most daring ride at the midway.

Premiering Wednesday, August 26th at 10pm ET/PT - "Deep Fried Rockies" Anthony heads to the heart of the Rockies for some mountain-sized carnival fun at Parker Days in Parker, Colorado. The carnival eats he finds at this fest are no small feat - massive 24 pound beef ribs and a deep-fried root beer float. After he beefs up on calories, Anthony goes head to head with some of the strongest men in the world and gets down and dirty in a sumo battle.

Premiering Wednesday, September 2nd at 10pm ET/PT - "Bacon-Wrapped Heartland" At the Prairie Fest in Oswego, Illinois, Anthony eats his way through the heartland, gobbling up everything from bacon-wrapped roasted corn to a twist on a local specialty - a Chicago crab dog. Then, it is an Anderson family reunion as Anthony runs into his Great Aunt Pearl and ropes her into his carnival culinary quest.

Premiering Wednesday, September 9th at 10pm ET/PT - "San Diego on a Stick" Anthony Anderson soaks up some So-Cal fun at the San Diego County Fair, where every carnival treat is straight out of the melting pot, such as Thai chicken fry bread and a chile relleno cheeseburger. Before the sun sets, he has a little fun with some pint-sized locals who challenge him to a bubble gum blowing contest.

Premiering Wednesday, September 16th at 10pm ET/PT - "Lobster dogs and So-Cal Sundaes" At the Alameda County Fair, Anthony meets up with 500,000 of his friends to chow down on crazy carnival eats like a mac and cheese stuffed burger and a lobster dog. He also throws on his carnival chef hat and defies the ice cream gods by making a spaghetti and meatball sundae.
