BRIGHTMOOR (FX, New!) - Chip Hall and Chris Powell are developing a new animated comedy at the cable channel billed as "South Park" set in inner-city Detroit, featuring "the African American pupils at Brightmoor Elementary." Revolt Films' Sean "Diddy" Combs, Underground Films' Trevor Engelson and Five All in the Fifth Entertainment's Doug Banker are also among the executive producers with Sarah Snedeker producing. FULLER HOUSE (Netflix, New!) - Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber are set to reprise their roles in a revival of the 1987-1995 comedy "Full House," about a widowed father (Bob Saget) who enlists his best friend (Dave Coulier) and his brother-in-law (John Stamos) to help raise his three daughters. Bure would return as said daughter D.J. with Barber as her BFF Kimmy while Stamos, Saget and Coulier are eyed for guest appearances. Original series creator Jeff Franklin is spearheading the multi-camera effort with Thomas L. Miller and Robert L. Boyett likewise executive producing. (TVLine.com)


HALF OF IT, THE (CBS/CBSP; W: Mike Gibbons; D: James Burrows) - David Del Rio (Pitch Perfect) has been tapped for a role on the comedy pilot, about Mike (Jon Dore), a newly divorced dad who revels in the fact that he now gets to keep half his stuff, which is more than he ever had when he was married. He'll play Geoffrey, "a hipster with a strong sense of melting pot of styles fashion, who frequently operates without a filter and fancies himself a giver." Christine Ko and Morgan Krantz also star. NOT SAFE FOR WORK (NBC/Universal; W: Aseem Batra; D: Betsy Thomas) - "Saturday Night Live" alum Cheri Oteri has been added to the cast of the multi-camera comedy pilot, about best friends Dale (Michael Cassidy) and Georgie (Christine Woods) whose relationship is upended when he starts dating the "perfect" woman (Vanessa Lachey). She'll play Misty, one of Drea's co-anchors. Rizwan Manji also stars as Wallis. (Deadline.com)


SUPER CLYDE (CBS/CBSP; W: Greg Garcia; D: Rebecca Asher) - Annaleigh Ashford ("Masters of Sex") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about Clyde (Charlie McDermott), a meek, unassuming fast food worker who decides to become a "superhero" for the downtrodden after inheriting his uncle's fortune. She'll play Britney, "the high school sweetheart of Clyde's older brother Duke who dumped him once she found out he would not be inheriting his uncle's fortune. Now, Duke is pulling out all the stops to win her back." Diane Guerrero and Mark Addy also star. (Deadline.com)


AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Sibylla Deen has been upped to series regular while Omar Maskati has joined the cast of "Tyrant" (Deadline.com); Ingrid Escajeda has closed a two-year overall deal at 20th Century Fox Television where she'll join "Empire" as a co-executive producer (Deadline.com); and Baynard Woods's true crime book "Coffin Point: The Strange Cases of Ed McTeer, Witch Doctor Sheriff" is being developed as a TV series by Overbrook Entertainment and Alpine Labs (Deadline.com).
