DELORES & JERMAINE (ABC/ABCS; W: Jermaine Fowler; D: Beth McCarthy-Miller) - Ernie Hudson has been tapped for a role on the comedy pilot, about Jermaine (Jermaine Fowler), a millennial with big ideas, but very little drive, who moves in with Delores (Whoopi Goldberg), his estranged grandmother, a strict, football-loving, former DC cop who needs his youthful enthusiasm in her life as much as he needs her old-school parenting. He'll play Rick, a love interest to Delores. Jennia Fredrique also stars as Jermaine's mom with Christina Moore as her new wife Ebony; Gary Perez as Jermaine's boss Mr. Ross; and Roy Wood Jr. presumably as Jermaine's dad. (Deadline.com)

DEVIL YOU KNOW, THE (HBO/Lionsgate; W: Bruce Miller, Jenji Kohan & Tracy Miller; D: Gus Van Sant) - James Marsters is bound for the ever-expanding cast of the drama pilot, which explores the circumstances surrounding one of the most compelling chapters in American history: the Salem Witch Trials. He'll play Reverend George Burroughs in the project, which also stars Eddie Izzard, Ever Carradine and Karen Gillan, among others. (TVLine.com)

KING OF 7B, THE (ABC/ABCS; W: Howard Franklin; D: David Frankel) - Ione Skye is the latest addition to the comedy pilot, about Prentiss Porter (Craig Ferguson), an agoraphobic recluse who ventures outside for the first time in 20 years when he spies what could be his soulmate moving into the building across the street. She'll play the love interest of Ferguson's character, Veronica Shultz Carlyle, a history professor at Columbia. Amir Talai, Carla Jimenez, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Marin Hinkle also star. (THR.com)

LIVING ON VIDEO (HBO; W: Bob Stevenson & Rich Wilkes; D: David Fincher) - Corbin Bernsen ("Psych") has been cast in the comedy pilot, about the players of the then-exploding music video industry in 1983 Los Angeles. He'll play Bill White, "a successful Hollywood commercial director." Charlie Rowe, Sam Page, Jason Flemyng, Kerry Condon and Elizabeth Lail also star. (Deadline.com)

MTX! (Disney XD, New!) - Up-and-comer Nathaniel Potvin is set to star in a new live-action adventure comedy pilot at the cable channel about Ryan (Potvin), "a 14-year-old boy with the extraordinary ability to control technology with his mind - technopathy. After his secret power is revealed, he quickly learns that monsters have just been sent to destroy the city by an evil corporation. With danger looming, the only thing that can protect the citizens of Bay City is MTX, a 120-foot robot that only Ryan has the ability to control. First, Ryan must assemble a team that, together, has the skills needed to activate the complicated inner-workings of MTX." Raymond Cham, Jr. also stars as Ryan's older brother Mark with Kamran Allahverdy and Robbie Tucker as Ryan's two friends Harris and Spyder, respectively. Steve Marmel penned the pilot and will executive produce with Zach Lipovsky set to direct. (Deadline.com)
