GLOBALLY RENOWNED THOUGHT LEADER AND INNOVATOR ARIANNA HUFFINGTON JOINS OPRAH.COM'S ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM FOR NEW O COURSE - THRIVE

Six-Week Online Course Based on Arianna's Best-Selling Book, "Thrive," Provides Steps to Move From Merely Succeeding to Thriving

Guest Co-Teachers Include NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant, Renowned Author and Speaker Shawn Achor and Christina and Isabella Huffington

Los Angeles - Expanding upon a successful partnership with The Huffington Post, Oprah Winfrey is once again teaming up with Arianna Huffington for the newest addition to Oprah.com's online learning platform -- "Thrive," a new O Course based on Arianna's New York Times' best-selling book. This course will help students improve their lives, moving from stress, sleep deprivation and exhaustion to a life full of well being, productivity and fulfillment. Registration for the course is now open at www.Oprah.com/thriveocourse.

"Thousands of people have subscribed to the multiple O Courses that Oprah.com currently offers and we're excited to keep expanding and growing this business platform," said Erik Logan, president, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Harpo Studios. "OWN's audience is already benefitting from Arianna's expertise through our partnership with The Huffington Post and we are looking forward to giving them a more in depth way to learn from one of the most inspirational thought leaders in the business."

"I'm very excited to be offering the Thrive O Course as a bridge to help us move from knowing what to do in order to Thrive to actually doing it," said Huffington. "I have loved working with the OWN team building a course with all the tools and practices necessary to build new habits and learn to listen to the whispers before they become painful wakeup calls like mine."

Arianna Huffington is dedicated to addressing the misconception that burnout is the necessary price we must pay for success, a commitment prompted by a wake-up call that she personally experienced when she collapsed as the result of severe exhaustion. This six-week online course is designed to help participants realize that true success means a life with time for renewal, wisdom, wonder and giving. Students will learn to take inventory of their lives and track their steps to improving the overall quality of their life.

Throughout the course, Arianna and a team of esteemed guest instructors and her personal "Thrive Tribe" will introduce students to small, practical steps that will help shift daily habits into a more revitalized and rewarding way of life. Featured guest teachers include: NBA all-star Kobe Bryant, author and speaker Shawn Achor, Wharton professor Adam Grant, Warby Parker Co-Founder and Co-CEO Dave Gilboa, yoga warrior Rudy Mettia, Arianna's breathing coach Joan Witkowski, Arianna's daughters Christina and Isabella Huffington and her sister and meditation coach Agapi Stassinopoulos.

Throughout the course, Arianna will hold weekly office hours to coach students through their questions in real time. Additionally, the course will provide students with tracking tools to help them monitor their progress throughout the course, tracking sleep, activities and exercise.

The course begins May 3, 2015. Interested participants can log on to http://www.Oprah.com/thriveocourse to register now through May 10, 2015. The cost of the course is $49.99 for early bird registration with a regular price of $59.99. For a limited time, course registrants can receive a free copy of Arianna Huffington's book, "Thrive."

In November 2012, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and The Huffington Post Media Group launched HuffPost OWN, a section of The Huffington Post website providing practical advice and ideas to help users find motivation, inspiration and fulfillment.
