WGN AMERICA ROLLS OUT THE RED CARPET FOR OSCAR COVERAGE
KTLA's "Countdown to the Oscars" and "Live From the Oscars," Hosted by Sam Rubin and
Jessica Holmes, To Air Nationally on Sunday, February 22, Beginning at 5 p.m. ET
Los Angeles, CA (February 18, 2015) - WGN America will be the exclusive national home of Tribune Broadcasting's Los Angeles station KTLA's pre-Oscar red carpet coverage, hosted by popular entertainment reporters Sam Rubin and Jessica Holmes. Premiering SUNDAY, February 22 beginning at 5 p.m. ET, WGN America will air KTLA's "Countdown To The Oscars(R)," a behind-the-scenes look at the nominated films and actors who will be celebrated at this year's Academy Awards ceremony, followed by the marquee live red carpet event, "Live From The Oscars(R)."
During the 90-minute special programming event, "Live From The Oscars(R)," which begins at 6 p.m. ET, Rubin and Holmes will go one-on-one with this year's creme de la creme to discuss both their performances and their fashion as they enter the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for one of Hollywood's biggest nights.
