DMITRY SHOLOKHOV TAKES THE GLORY FOR A SECOND TIME
PROJECT RUNWAY SEASON TEN CHAMPION DOES IT AGAIN BY WINNING SEASON FOUR OF PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 12, 2015) - Project Runway season ten winner Dmitry Sholokhov has once again proved to the judges he reigns supreme, winning season four of Project Runway All Stars (#PRAllstars) last night with a collection inspired by the modern, cosmopolitan woman who loves the art of fashion and buys special and unique pieces. The Belarus native, who currently resides in New York, beat out fellow finalists Helen Castillo and Sonjia Williams with an astonishing collection created in only four days before the finale, where this year's designers were challenged to create an eight piece collection representing all four seasons. Sholokhov's designs walked the finale runway show at New York's hottest new venue, the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel, where his distinctive collection caught the eyes of Project Runway All Stars host Alyssa Milano, judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, mentor Zanna Roberts and guest judges Zac Posen and Mira Sorvino.
Sholokhov's surprise return this season stunned Fabio Costa and Gunnar Deatherage, his season ten competitors, and the program's additional elite designers, who had to step up their game in order to triumph over the returning champion. It was Sholokhov's talent and ambition that drove him to win three challenges during the fourth season of Project Runway All Stars. His raw ability and unwavering desire to prove himself as the best of the best, impressed this season's guest judges, actors Debra Messing, Ariel Winter and Laverne Cox, TV personalities Cat Deeley, Snooki and JWOWW, renowned fashion designers Betsey Johnson and Elie Tahari, entrepreneur Ivanka Trump, celebrity photographer Nigel Barker, singer Nicole Scherzinger , Project Runway's Nina Garcia and Zac Posen, fashion blogger Danielle Bernstein, Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso and fashion consultant George Kotsiopoulos.
As the winner of Project Runway All Stars season four, Sholokhov receives the ultimate prize package that includes the chance to create his own capsule collection with QVC and appear during QVC's Spring Fashion Week programming; a fashion spread in Marie Claire and a position at the magazine as Contributing Editor for one year; CHI(R) Haircare will send Sholokhov to stay in a luxury spa resort as a special guest at its International conference in Cancun, Mexico, plus product and staff for entire year of runway shows; from Mary Kay, an entire year's worth of beauty products for their fashion shows and professional makeup artist services for Sholokhov's debut show; a cash prize of $150,000 and a complete custom sewing studio from Brother Sewing and Embroidery to launch his winning line.
