Santa Monica, Calif. - Feb. 9, 2015 - Nickelodeon stars team up for a brand-new original TV movie Splitting Adam premiering Monday, Feb. 16, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The film, starring Jace Norman (Henry Danger), Isabela Moner (100 Things to do Before High School), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans) and Tony Cavalero (School of Rock), follows 15-year-old Adam Baker (Norman) who thinks he has found the answer to all of his problems when he accidentally clones himself, but he soon realizes multiple Adams could mean big trouble.
In Splitting Adam, 15-year-old Adam Baker has a jam-packed summer schedule. Between juggling multiple jobs, babysitting his sister and helping Uncle Magic Mitch perfect his magic act, he barely has a moment to sleep, let alone time to pursue his dream girl, Lori. After stumbling across a strange tanning bed his uncle brings home, Adam accidentally clones himself and finds the answer to all his problems--he can create multiple Adams. The situation soon spirals out of control when Adam starts feeling weak and learns that if he doesn't merge the clones back into himself, they could all be destroyed - including him!
The movie will be made available for purchase on download-to-own platforms (iTunes, Amazon, Xbox, Vudu and Google Play) on Tuesday, Feb. 17. Additionally, Splitting Adam can be streamed on Nick.com and the Nick App from March 1-15. The Nick App is a free download and available on iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows 8 and Xbox devices.
Splitting Adam is directed and executive produced by Scott McAboy (Santa Hunters, Swindle, Big Time Movie, Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh). The film is produced by Amy Sydorick (Santa Hunters, Big Time Movie, Swindle, Jinxed, A Fairly Odd Summer) and written by John E. Deaver & William S. Walker.
