If the Game Is a Blowout.
If Deflate-Gate Has You Over It.
Or If You Just Need a Mental Break From the Football Blitz.
The Only Real Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday
Premieres This Sunday, Feb. 1, at 6:00 PM ET/PT Only on Nat Geo WILD
(WASHINGTON, D.C. - Jan. 26, 2015) The Patriots, the Seahawks and the Goldfish. When the clash of the gridiron is too much to handle, click over to Nat Geo WILD to experience the scientifically proven calming effects of watching aquarium fish (complete with no cheating scandals!). This year Goldie is taking her show on the road, heading to a farm with a clownfish friend to visit some of Dr. Pol's closest animal pals. Don't miss Goldie's relaxing escape to the farm in Fish Bowl II, once again premiering Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. (For more information, visit http://www.natgeowild.com and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/NGC_PR.)
Fish Bowl II will open with Goldie and her new co-star, Charlie the clownfish. They share equal billing, but not equal bowls, as Goldie enjoys life in her freshwater, while Charlie joins her in his salt water. Together they visit with their barnyard friends including cows, horses, pigs, chickens and many more.
When asked if she's worried about the competition on the football field, Goldie said, "What we're doing is completely different. We're offering people an alternative to clashing helmets and brutal tackles. I think everyone can agree that a few quiet moments alone with a barn animal is a game changer."
Already a demanding diva, Goldie insisted that The Incredible Dr. Pol be her lead-in for Fish Bowl II, saying she wouldn't even consider sharing the most action-packed Sunday of the year with anyone but Nat Geo WILD's No. 1 rated show. Don't miss the best of The Incredible Dr. Pol during the Super Pol marathon, airing Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. (For more information, visit http://www.natgeowild.com and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/NGC_PR.)
The day after the Super Bowl, Nat Geo WILD celebrates Groundhog Day with a 20-hour marathon. The groundhog is a big player on its big day, appearing for a few seconds on Groundhog Day to tell us how long winter will last, then disappearing for an entire year. Now Nat Geo WILD gives another member of the rodent family its due, dedicating an entire day to the American Beaver. In the grand tradition of Bill Murray's classic holiday movie "Groundhog Day," Nat Geo WILD will replay its American Beaver special for 20 hours straight, airing from 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, to 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3. (For more information, visit natgeowild.com and follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/NGC_PR.)

American Beaver is a tale of power, domination and triumph over adversity. A tireless engineer, the beaver takes on the job of building a pond while facing off against predators and the full fury of the elements. During an incredible HD hour, we'll enter the secret world of our beaver family for an entire year, capturing all stages of the rodents' compulsive need to build. And then we'll air it again, and again, and again.

We capture the intimate moments of an entire beaver family, including one lifelong, bonded pair and their offspring. This beaver family's impact on the entire area is massive. Second only to humans, beavers alter their environment more than any other mammal on the planet. These 40-pound rodents may not look like the region's key species, but their activities are vital to all other life in the Tetons. The landscape they survey is more than their domain - it is their creation.
