"BACHELOR" AND "BACHELORETTE" COUPLES, FAN FAVORITES AND HOST CHRIS HARRISON WILL SHARE THEIR LOVE WITH MILLIONS OF VIEWERS ON THE FIRST-EVER "BACHELOR" FLOAT IN THE 126th ROSE PARADE(R)

ABC Presents Live Coverage of "The 2015 Rose Parade(R) Presented by Honda" Thursday, January 1, 2015

New Bachelor Chris Soules, Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jason and Molly Mesnick, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, Fan Favorites Sarah Herron, Marquel Martin and Bachelor Franchise Host Chris Harrison Will Live Tweet From Aboard the Float

"The Bachelor" will kick off the New Year in style with beloved members of the franchise riding a spectacular float representing ABC's hit romance reality stable of series for the first time ever. "The 2015 Rose Parade(R) Presented by Honda" will air live, THURSDAY, JANUARY 1 (11:00am -1:00pm ET, 10:00am-12:00pm CT, 9:00am - 11:00am MT, 8:00am - 10:00am PT), on the ABC Television Network.

Chris Soules, who will begin his journey to find love as the 19th Bachelor on Monday, January 5 with a live premiere event (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), will be joined by these popular Bachelor and Bachelorette couples: The original Bachelorette, Trista, and her husband, Ryan Sutter, who just celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on December 6; Jason and Molly Mesnick, who will celebrate their fifth anniversary on February 27, 2015; and Desiree Hartsock, the ninth Bachelorette, and her fiancé Chris Siegfried, who are about to be married, also will be waving to the crowds lining Colorado Boulevard. Additionally, fan favorite Sarah Herron from Sean Lowe's season, popular "cookie connoisseur" Marquel Martin from Andi Dorfman's season and Bachelor franchise host Chris Harrison will wish everyone a Happy New Year!

The float will feature quintessential Bachelor symbols - champagne flutes, the Bachelor mansion faade, a hot tub, sculptured wedding bands and hearts - covered in thousands of roses of different varieties, along with a multitude of other types of flowers and seeds. Additionally, corn husks, harvested straight from Chris Soules' Iowa farm, will be incorporated into the float design.

The Rose Parade's theme of "Inspiring Stories" will be brought to life on the Bachelor float as "Inspiring Love," the foundation on which the franchise was created, encouraging millions of viewers for more than a decade to aspire to find their own fairytale romances. "The Bachelor" has showcased love stories for over 18 seasons now and "The Bachelorette" for ten.

"Inspiring Love" is set amid floral garden displays of 25,000 red roses and against the backdrop of the Mediterranean arch walls of the Bachelor mansion in Los Angeles, home base for "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette." Chris Soules will stand upon a wrought iron balcony beside a silver tray laden with roses. Floral champagne bottles flank the garden balcony with sculpted urns overflowing with red roses, framing the float. Chris Harrison and his children will helm the front of the float.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelor," "The Bachelorette" and "Bachelor in Paradise" are productions of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton and Alycia Rossiter are the executive producers.
