COCAINE COWBOYS (TNT/WHT; W: Michelle Ashford; D: Mark Pellington) - Emmy-nominee Elizabeth Perkins ("Weeds") is the latest addition to the pilot, a drama set in the wild and unpredictable world of the Florida drug trade in the 1970s. She's set as Josephine "Jojo" Nickel, "all peroxide and cleavage with a penchant for gambling at the dog track, who raised her son, Bobby as a single mother. A true local with deeply Southern roots, Jojo now has her own ambitions: Bobby's father-in-law, Corwin." Kristen Hager, Adria Arjona, Kelsey Siepser and Oscar Jaenada also star. (Deadline.com)

LIZZIE BORDEN CHRONICLES, THE (Lifetime/Sony; W: Various; D: Stephen Kay) - Jessy Schram and Jonathan Banks have both been cast in the six-episode limited series, an intense and fictionalized account of actual events and people surrounding Lizzie's (Christina Ricci) life after her controversial acquittal of the horrific double murder of her father and stepmother in 1892, when the exonerated figure lives a life awash in newfound celebrity. Schram will play Nancy O'Keefe, "an alluring and ambitious actress and dancer who befriends Lizzie following one of her performances"; with Banks as Mr. Flowers, "Lizzie's business associate, a crime kingpin who manages the prostitution and extortion ring in Fall River." Clea DuVall also stars. (Deadline.com)

PORT OF MIAMI (NBC, New!) - Mark Perez (Accepted) has sold a new multi-camera comedy to the Peacock about "an unmotivated white bartender who works with a variety of international employees, all of them aggressively seeking the American dream and incredulous that he is content to mix drinks, chase women and settle for less." Lionsgate Television, Televisa USA and Wind Dancer Films are all behind the half-hour with Matt Williams, David McFadzean, Judd Payne and Dete Meserve also among the executive producers. (THR.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - AMC has quietly passed on its comedy pilot "We Hate Paul Revere" (Deadline.com); Charlotte Sieling has been tapped to helm USA's drama pilot "Queen of the South" (Deadline.com); Lolita Davidovich and James Frain are among the latest actors reportedly bound for "True Detective" (Deadline.com); Samantha Mathis has joined the cast of "The Strain" as Justine Feraldo, "a no-nonsense City Councilwoman for Staten Island who manages to use her cadre of hardcore cops to cleanse Staten Island of bloodsuckers" (Deadline.com); Inbar Lavi will recur on the new season of "The Last Ship" as Ravit Bivas, "a well-trained Israeli soldier who also has the ability to go undercover" (Deadline.com);
