BILLY & BILLIE (DirecTV, New!) - Neil LaBute ("Full Circle") has landed a new 10-episode drama at the satellite provider, which "centers on two young adults, Billy (Adam Brody) and Billie (Lisa Joyce), as they fall in love, a romance complicated by the fact that they're stepbrother and sister." LaBute will write, direct and executive produce each installment. (THR.com)
FAUST (NBC, New!) - Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa ("Glee") has sold a new drama to the Peacock about "an ambitious surgeon forced to confront a terrible truth: that he may lose everything good in his life - his job, his family, his very soul - when a diabolical stranger from his past arrives, to collect on a bargain they made thirteen years earlier." Mark Burnett and Roma Downey are also on board to executive produce the hour via their LightWorkers Media banner. (Deadline.com)
OUTCAST (Cinemax/FIC; W: Robert Kirkman; D: Adam Wingard) - Patrick Fugit, Philip Glenister and Gabriel Bateman are the first to be cast in the drama pilot, about Kyle Barnes, "a young man who's been plagued by possession since he was a child. He sets out to seek answers, only to uncover something that could end all life on Earth as we know it." Fugit will play said role with Glenister as Reverend Anderson, "a hard drinking, hard gambling West Virginian evangelical preacher who believes he's a soldier in God's holy war against evil"; and Bateman as Joshua Austin, "a young boy who lives across town who appears to be possessed by a demon and has a mysterious connection to Kyle." Adam Wingard (The Guest) is likewise on board to direct the project, which is based on Robert Kirkman and artist Paul Azaceta's comic series of the same name (Deadline.com)

Marlene King will oversee the project, with a new writer set to replace Arika Lisanne Mittman (who penned The CW incarnation). Said effort revolves around "five girls who plot the perfect revenge after their lives are ruined by a handsome womanizer; only he dies, exactly how they planned - but they didn't do it." Warner Horizon Television and Alloy Entertainment are both behind the project, with Les Morgenstein and Cheryl Dolins will also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
