A+E NETWORKS(R) BRINGS FYI(TM) TO APPLE TV
NEW YORK - October 28, 2014 - A+E Networks(R) today announced the launch of FYI(TM) content on Apple TV in the US. The free TV Everywhere content offers Apple TV users access to full episodes and exclusive clips of their favorite FYI programming including Married at First Sight, Tiny House Nation, Born to Style, Epic Meal Empire and more. A+E Networks subscribers (through participating television providers) will have access to additional content with new video added every day.
FYI joins A&E(R), HISTORY(R) and Lifetime(R), which launched this past April on Apple TV.
In addition to Apple TV, A+E Networks TV Everywhere content is also available on iOS and other platforms, keeping A+E at the forefront of the television evolution on digital platforms.
With nearly 25 million downloads across the A&E, HISTORY and Lifetime watch apps to date, and over 60 percent of all broadband video viewing occurring through the apps, the company has garnered nearly four times the visits per unique visitor compared to the companion online sites, with a 120 percent higher video engagement rate - all which helped drive A+E Networks up 15 percent in year-over-year growth.
